If I do say so myself, anyway. Thanksgiving is an odd duck, isn’t it? Surrounded by two very large and beloved holidays, but I think it’s safe to say that Thanksgiving holds its own. It’s a beautiful day in a rather gray and dark time of year. Sometimes it coincides with Hanukkah, which brings a nice light into the darkness, celebrating thankfulness, light, and hope within one weekend. I like years like that. It can be hard when you have such a big family, to figure out what to do for Thanksgiving. Do we drive to NJ? Do we host? Maybe we go to the in-laws’ house. Sometimes, the Florida in-laws are here too. I figure that this year, we will host, because we do have four kids, and it promises to me a large and delicious feast. Not a lot of travel, and something more unique than usual. And hey, as long as there’s charcuterie and mashed potatoes, I’m happy.
Thanksgiving Appetizer Ideas: Grazing Plate:
As usual, I have my Veroni secret weapon. Every holiday is awesome with Veroni. Veroni has been sharing the best Italian cold cuts since 1925! They have salami, charcuterie, eco-friendly trays, party trays, deli meats, snacks (we use for school lunches), and more. The provolone is perfect for snacking on or making fun shapes, like the hearts we made. This time of year is all about get-togethers, and Veroni products are perfect. From all of the meats and cheese to olives, little breadsticks, dried fruits, and really fun combinations of food. You’ll love it all!
For our favorite spread, we love to get some fun fall items from the seasonal aisle. Then we grab our favorite Veroni products, clementines (or any little oranges), pomegranates, pretzel/cereal mix, flatbread crackers, candy, and grapes. Enjoy!
