These Berry and Cream Stuffed Crescent Roll Snacks are SO good! The not secret anymore ingredient is Welch’s® Fruit Rolls - they bake into the perfect consistency of tart and sweet and doughy! #sponsored #WelchsFruitRolls #UnrollTheFun

I don’t even know how to tell you just how GOOD these are!

I’m going to need you to try them yourself. In my endless quest for fun after-school snacks and/or desserts, I constantly think about what flavors go well together. I’m really into the cheesecake flavor, but since I’m not a huge cream cheese fan, I try to see what I can do with Farmer’s Cheese or Ricotta. That’s one of the reasons these crescent roll snacks are SO GOOD! Now I have two kids, so of course I buy Welch’s Fruit Rolls. They’re awesome! We get ours at Walmart and Stop & Shop, but you can also get them at a number of locations near you, like Kroger, Publix, Ahold, ShopRite, Albertsons, Safeway, Price Chopper, Delhaize, Foodtown, HyVee, Giant Eagle, Tops, and Stater Bros.

The thing is, we have a BIG vacation week coming up. When I think of spring break, I always smile, because there are such feelings of joy and freedom associated with it. Since we often stay home for spring break, we make a special plan for each day of that week. On one day, we always go to a farm in the Berkshires and have a picnic. We always bake something together. And if we’re lucky, we visit family or maybe see a nice beach. There are always opportunities for adventure, and there are always reasons to buy our go-to snack of choice – Welch’s Fruit Rolls. What can I say? Fruit is the first ingredient!

And you can taste it! Also, it bakes exceptionally well.

Why should you make my Berry and Cream Stuffed Crescent Roll Snacks? They’re so delicious. The cheese is just enough sweet/salty but SUBTLE to make the Welch’s Fruit Rolls taste stand out. Also, the Welch’s Fruit Rolls bake wonderfully. Not only do they get soft and tart, but that softness lasts – even if you leave the snacks out for a bit. We learned that the hard way, but I’m really glad we did. Welch’s Fruit Rolls are our go-to choice for spring break vacation. Not only do they have 100% of the daily value of Vitamin C, they have 25% of the daily value of Vitamins A & E! As I said above, fruit is the first ingredient. It’s a delicious taste the whole family loves, and that heartily includes Cassidy and me. We know what to buy.

What’s really fun is the form! When you unroll the Welch’s Fruit Rolls, you unroll the fun. You can’t not smile when eating food by the roll! They’re bright and colorful, and full of flavor. As a mama of two, I love options that are good for two lunch boxes, two school parties, two after school snacks, and spring break for two! Honestly, I am SO excited for fun in the sun.

We have certainly earned it.

The First Person I Shared a Box of Cheerios™ With.

I have a long history with Cheerios™. I think so many of us do, because it’s timeless, delicious, and the stuff of childhood memories, but it always makes me think fondly of the first person I shared a box with. And that’s my older sister, Lindsay.

(I’m not just one of her baby sisters; I’m also one of her photographers!)

I don’t always dwell on this, but Cheerios™ were a huge comfort to me as a toddler when my father had passed away, and I’m sure meals were hard for my mom to always make. My sister and I would always have Cheerios™ together, whether at home, at our grandparent’s house, or during our trips to Florida or New Hampshire to visit my other grandparents. Now that I have my own kids, I notice how much more I appreciate their convenience and taste. Personally I like to mix my own with a little cream in the milk, but I haven’t told my kids that secret yet. I do tell that to my sister. You know what else is special?

This is going to be her first Mother’s Day as a mama.

It hasn’t been an easy road. Her baby, Parker, was born two months early but he’s doing great right now. His due date was originally in May so many of us thought her first Mother’s Day would actually be next year in 2017! It is a celebration, though, because Parker is healthy and adorable. My sister is one of the strongest people I know, and she’s the only one with the same early childhood memories I have – both painful and hopeful. I raise my bowl of Cheerios™ to my sister, Lindsay, and I know she can raise her own bowl right back to me because of the “Buy a Box. Give a Free Box” campaign at Walmart right now.

You can purchase a box of specially marked boxes of Cheerios™ that are sold exclusively at Walmart. Then you can enter your code and fill out an E-card online for a friend/sister/loved one to receive a coupon for their own free box of Cheerios™.

They can take their coupon to their local Walmart.

Even though we don’t live as close as I’d like, we can each enjoy our own box of Cheerios™, and think of each other. My older sister is building her own life right now, and her own family, and I couldn’t be more proud and inspired of who she is.

I am also so happy to share motherhood with her. I have so many things to tell her, and I’m sure she’ll have things to tell me! I’ll tell her (and you) that Cheerios™ are amazing in salads. I know because I follow the lead of my kids, and use them as croutons. Seriously, it’s one of the better salads I’ve eaten or made. Whether with salad dressing, or without, it works well.

You simply make a kid-friendly snack using the fruits and vegetables they most like, and top with Cheerios™ for crunch and taste. I used butter lettuce, purple cabbage, baby carrots, blueberries, crunch apples, shredded cheese, and the cereal!

I can’t tell you exactly WHY this makes their kids eat their vegetables, but I even put them on my own salad now!

My kids (and I) tend to like Cheerios™ in more than one thing at a time, because they’re versatile like that. We make a sticky, sweet treat – Cheerios™ Marshmallow Fluff Treats. Then we shape them into hearts, and add sprinkles, because why not?
