Maybe just the idea of a summer picnic is enough for me. Delicious anticipation! Call it what you want – picnics, charcuterie, charcuterie picnics, grazing boards, grazing boards picnic, for me it’s all about the food and the company. I believe we have to be choosy with both, don’t you think? Company is important, but choosing food for a summer picnic? Now that is just the icing on the cake. I love to make a good summer picnic board, and with all ingredients from Sam’s Club, I can seriously make exquisite creations. My board this time has cheese, turkey sticks, crackers, fruits, yogurt parfaits with fun secret ingredients and Parmesan Crisps aas well! So, I’m going to teach you what to shop for, and how to make this fun grazing board. You’re going to love it!
Summer Picnic Grazing Board With Sam’s Club:
Fresh Gourmet Parmesan Crisps go right on my board! My husband is keto, and he loves these. I’m a cheese lover, so I love these. You can do so much with them, like crush them up to bread your homemade chicken nuggets (or even tofu) and you can also crush them into a salad. They are made with 100% cheese, are keto-friendly, low-carb, and an excellent source of protein. They’re vegetarian, certified gluten-free and ready-to-eat straight from the bag.
And Fresh Gourmet Cranberry & Pecan Topping is also versatile. This 20-oz bag of yumminess is all-natural, and adds a crunch to oatmeal, yogurt, salads, and more! I’m going to show you how I make mini yogurt parfaits with them, which is an awesome addition to a charcuterie or grazing board. It’s chewy dried cranberries, with crunchy pecans, and a light sugar coating. It’s delicious!
What You Need For Your Summer Picnic Board:
Fresh Gourmet Parmesan Crisps
Fresh Gourmet Cranberry & Pecan Topping
16 ounces plain vanilla Yogurt
Turkey Sausage Sticks
Sliced Swiss Cheese
Sliced Colby & Monterey Jack Cheese
Strawberries, washed and dried
12 small dessert cups (2 ounce size)
12 small spoons
What You Do For Your Summer Picnic Board:
1 – Buy your ingredients at Sam’s Club. For some tips, I buy the cheese in the deli or the sliced sandwich cheese that’s prepackaged. You can stack up about 5 slices, cut them into 4 squares, and then cut each square into triangles.
2 – Then, create yogurt parfaits by adding about 1 Tbsp of yogurt to 12 small dessert cups.
3 – And then top with Fresh Gourmet Cranberry & Pecan Topping and insert a small appetizer spoon into each cup.
4 – Place half of the cups onto the serving platter or board, and refrigerate the remaining cups.
5 – Layer your items; first add them in a single layer to make sure they fit. And then additional layers once every ingredient is placed, until you have filled the board.
6 – Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
