It is filled with the things they most want and need, and the items that make the school year a little (or a lot) better and easier for everyone involved. The list may have paper towels and Kleenex tissues. Arts and crafts items. Snacks for kids who forget them at home. This time of year, Kleenex tissues are always on the list. It’s almost winter, isn’t it? They are needed.
Cassidy and I both work full-time and we don’t always get to volunteer in the classroom or on field trips as often as we’d like. So when we can help, we help in ways we know best – cooking a turkey for the classroom’s Thanksgiving feast. Putting in extra money for field trips, in case another student can’t afford it. And mainly – donating wish list items to the classroom.
I have been going to Sam’s Club quite a bit lately, as you may have noticed. It’s just fun for me! It’s right near my in-laws’ house and I love to take Des and make a fun morning out of it, finding household things we both want and need.
The desire to show someone we care is within all of us, and it’s strong in my family. For some reason, we don’t always do it and we come up with all sorts of excuses before the moments pass. Last year was really hard for me to get involved with Scarlet’s kindergarten class, although luckily I was able to meet some friends I know I’ll have forever. I’ve become much more involved with her first grade class, and with Des’ daycare class, because I care so much and I love to help in ways I can help.
The benefits are immeasurable with these opportunities to reach out and connect. Kleenex® Anti-Viral* facial tissues are a great way to spread cheer and show gestures of care this holiday season. They have three soft layers, including a moisture-activated middle layer that kills 99.9% of cold and flu viruses. Kleenex® Anti-Viral* facial tissues are 3-ply, are soft and absorbent, and come in upright boxes that are the right size for anywhere in your home or office or classroom.
With Thanksgiving and Christmas and a long holiday break coming up, I think a germ-free December and January would be a gift worth giving! At your local Sam’s Club you’ll be able to find festive and convenient bulk facial tissue packs. I bought the Anti-Viral Facial Tissue Pack that includes 12 individual boxes of 3-ply tissues. If you don’t already have a membership at Sam’s Club, or if you are up for renewal like I was, now is a great time to join or renew. Sam’s Club offers high quality products in large quantities, and also offers a Club pickup option that lets you order everything you need online, without the hassle of standing in long holiday lines. Give a teacher or classroom the gift of Kleenex, and spread holiday cheer!
