If you know me, you know I love anything spa-related. Last summer, Cassidy and I spent ten days out in California and visited some hot springs at a spa. It was pure heaven and I think about it a lot, especially during these past several months, because travel to California has been totally out of the question. That said, I can find paradise close to home. And that’s with SkinCatering, a full service salon and spa, who recently opened their new, expanded location in Tower Square in downtown Springfield. SkinCatering also makes their own, all-natural skincare line. Plus, they offer a variety of services such as massage therapy, facials and anti-aging treatments. As of November 10th, they’ve been in business for 10 years! And I got to celebrate this with goodies:

SkinCatering Full Service Salon and Spa:
The History:
SkinCatering was started 10 years ago by Leanne Sedlak and Kim Brunton, with a goal to offer relaxation to busy professionals. Their company quickly expanded. Now they’re a spa and skincare production line, and they use the highest-quality ingredients, and also provide effective, cruelty-free skincare products without harmful chemicals. SkinCatering loves developing advanced clean beauty products that support the evolving needs of clients.

Making a Difference:
SkinCatering uses their time and resources to support fundraisers, charities, and causes, via donations of spa services and volunteering. Their high end spa services are such a treat – and the products are formulated and manufactured by their own team to monitor every ingredient, catering to those with sensitive skin or allergies. They needed a larger space, so they’re now including a salon and nail services in the Tower Square location in downtown Springfield. I love what Founder and Chief Visionary Officer, Leanne Sedlak, said of the expansion: “We have been working on this project for almost 2 years so to see it finally realized and ready to open is a great feeling of accomplishment, especially in the middle of a pandemic.”
