Shall We Dance: André Rieu Album Review

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post and I received compensation, however all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

World-renowned violinist, conductor André Rieu has a new album out now, a U.S. tour and a 10-part primetime series premiering with Ovation TV #ad #AndreRieu

So this has been an interesting week/weekend.

We traveled to New Jersey for my sister’s baby shower and I attended that, did a photo shoot after it, and then a photo shoot the next day too! Then I came home to catch up on work. One of my favorite things to do is to listen to music while I write or edit photos. The kids didn’t have school yesterday for the holiday weekend and it was the third humid day of rain in a row. So we played downstairs for a lot of the day and listened to music. I put on André Rieu’s “Shall We Dance.”

Andre Rieu

He’s a world-renowned violinist and conductor and there’s a lot of news about André this fall! He has this wonderful new album, an extensive U.S. tour, AND a 10-part primetime series premiering with Ovation TV. André Rieu’s new recording, “Shall We Dance,” was released on October 6th and includes a CD and DVD from Decca Gold. You find purchase information here and purchase it at Target here. Target has an exclusive version with TWO bonus tracks – “Music of the Night” (from Phantom of the Opera) and “Lara’s Theme” (from Dr. Zhivago). There are so many cool tracks that we all loved!

I actually have two favorite tracks. First, I love “A Time For Us (Romeo and Juliet). That one gets me EVERY time. I also love “My Heart Will Go On.” One cool story from my “How We Met” story with Cassidy is that the bed & breakfast we visited in Maine during the first weekend we met was playing “My Heart Will Go On” over and over. That’s where we fell in love in person! So I’ll always have a weakness for that song. I must have listened to it 17 times with Scarlet and Des! I would LOVE to take them to one of the US concert dates, when we’re in Florida this fall. You can buy your tickets here.
