Red Robin Happy Hour Times, Deals, and Where to Find It

Red Robin happy hour times are simple once you actually find a location that runs it: 3 to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. What trips people up is everything the spam-farm search results don’t tell you upfront, starting with the fact that this isn’t a nationwide program at all.

Where Red Robin happy hour actually exists

Red Robin happy hour is currently limited to select restaurants in California, Nevada, and Arizona. If you’re searching for it anywhere else in the country, including here in Massachusetts, you won’t find it at your local Red Robin. It simply isn’t part of the deal outside those three states right now. A lot of the sites ranking for this keyword bury that detail in fine print or skip it entirely, which means people end up driving to a Red Robin expecting a deal that was never available to them in the first place. Save yourself the trip and call ahead, or check your specific location’s page before you go.

What’s actually on the happy hour menu

For the locations that do run it, the menu splits into shareable food and drinks, both priced the same way across the board.

Shareable Bites:

  • $5: Chips & Salsa, Crispy Fried Pickles
  • $6: Pretzel Bites, Queso Fundido
  • $7: Crispy Jalapeño Coins, Mini Corn Dogs, or 5 Bone-In Wings

Sippable Drinks:

  • $5: 16 oz. domestic draft beer (upgrade to 22 oz. for $2 more), or 6 oz. red or white wine
  • $6: Small margaritas in multiple flavors, small Spiked Freckled Lemonade, or small Long Island Iced Tea
  • $7: 16 oz. craft draft beer (upgrade to 22 oz. for $2 more)

Unlike some chains, Red Robin doesn’t discount its signature gourmet burgers during happy hour. This is strictly a bites-and-drinks menu, so don’t go in expecting a cheap Whiskey River BBQ Burger. Think of it more as the appetizer round before dinner, or a full meal on its own if you order a couple of the bigger shareables.

How it compares to other happy hour deals

If Red Robin isn’t near you or doesn’t run happy hour in your state, it’s worth checking what’s actually available closer to home. I’ve already dug into Applebee’s happy hour times and Red Lobster’s happy hour times, both of which run on more standard, widely available schedules. If wings and beer are more your speed than burgers, Buffalo Wild Wings happy hour is another solid Monday-through-Friday option, and if you’re after margaritas and app deals, Chili’s happy hour is worth a look too.

My take: if you’re in one of the three states where this actually runs, it’s a genuinely good deal, real shareable food alongside the drink specials, not just cheap beer. But the geographic limit is the real story here, and it’s the part most of the ranking content skips entirely. If you’re outside CA, NV, or AZ, don’t waste a trip on this one; check one of the other chains above instead.
