Rather, I was partnered with one of my favorite people ON EARTH, and we both decided that something so good should be postponed slightly, while we both see to other things this week. Amicable settlement here, people. So she will go and write something wonderful, and I will start coming down off of an anxious week full of sending Des to daycare for the first time, getting Scarlet (and myself) settled into a kindergarten routine, editing client photos, and just trying to stay sane. And it’s my sister’s bridal shower and bachelorette party weekend! And my cat just burped on my lap, and it was adult human-sized.

My bachelorette party was fun. Since I don’t drink at all, it was largely based around food. And penis balloons. Every time I use the “p” word, many of your comments go to spam filters, but have no fear. I will accept them warmly into my blog.

Yesterday, I had the good fortune to be tagged in a 50 question survey by Charlotte at My Pixie Blog. I figured that since I’m such an overachiever, I could use these questions for my Ask Away Friday. 50 questions instead of 10. I won’t write a book for each one, like I sometimes do, but feel free to consider yourself tagged and play along, should you like the questions!
Thank Goodness it’s #AskAwayFriday! Get to know our new hosts, meet our new co-host, and grab our new logo! Be sure to check out our new Facebook page “AskAwayFriday” for a great place to meet up and send out a #BuddyRequest if you need a partner to swap with! And always feel free to contact me here or anywhere if you want to swap with me.
#AskAwayFriday was created by the amazing Penny from Real Housewife of Caroline County as a place for us to connect with other bloggers by asking them ten questions to really get to know them. The sky is the limit with the questions you ask!
Tiffany from Mrs. Tee Love Life Laughter,
Christy from Uplifting Families,
Stacey from This Momma’s Ramblings
and
Amber from Bold Fit Mom

Now here we go! 50 nifty questions – some deeper than I expected, and some more honest/perverted than I expected to get.
1. What are you wearing?
Obviously, a sundress. Glad I’m writing this now and not late night, which would mean a Batman t-shirt and moose pants.

(I was looking for a picture of myself wearing today’s sundress, and instead came across this gem from the early 80’s. My mom wore sundresses many moons ago too!)
2. Ever been in love?
Yes. I think I’ve said it more than I’ve been totally in it. Or the right kind of it, if that makes sense. It’s happened BIG twice.
3. Ever had a terrible breakup?
They’ve all been terrible! Except one. I’ve given bad ones and oh boy, have I received one doozy of a bad one.
4. How tall are you?
I’m 5’6″ and proud!
5. How much do you weigh?
Well. That’s personal! At the time of this post, I weighed in at a whopping 115 pounds this morning. I’m narrow.

6. Any tattoos?
No. Never. I get claustrophobic about nail polish, and it comes off.
7. Any piercings?
I got my ears pierced when I was ten. I got a second hole in my right ear when I was a teenager but it closed up due to inactivity! I don’t know why my original piercings didn’t close up because I never wear earrings. Too much hair.
8. OTP (one true pair, favorite fictional couple)?
Huh? Oh, maybe Big Pete and Ellen from “The Adventures of Pete & Pete.” Am I dating myself there? I’m a big fan of Emma and Hook on “Once Upon a Time.” When she kissed him in the season finale, I swear I could feel it. Is that perverted?
9. Favorite show?
See above question! I love a lot of shows. I think I get the most into Once Upon a Time, though. In that way that I swear I’m in the middle of their kisses! (not usually) I love Doctor Who as much, or better, or worse. Or something!
10. Favorite bands?
I don’t really know how to separate favorite singers from favorite bands so I’ll just name a lot of favorite musicians at once: Bruce Hornsby, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, Tori Amos, Ben Folds, Counting Crows, Michael Jackson, Sarah McLachlan (old stuff), Beatles, The Police, The Who, Steely Dan, John Williams, Danny Elfman, those people who sing “Safe and Sound” just because they sing “Safe and Sound”. Same with “Nightswimming”. Also Toad the Wet Sprocket, Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin.
11. Something you miss?
Living life without so much fear and anxiety.
12. Favorite song?
Right now it’s “Safe and Sound.”
13. How old are you?
34.
14. Zodiac sign?
Leo. I’m nearly on the Cancer/Leo cusp, though.
15. Quality you look for in a partner?
Having the capacity for true joy. A vulgar sense of humor. Ambition. Believing in a little (or a lot of) magic.
16. Favorite Quote?
People always attribute it to the original Winnie the Pooh books, but it’s actually a Disney movie quote, I believe: “If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together… there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart… I’ll always be with you.”
17. Favorite actor?
Tim Curry. Bill Nighy. Alan Rickman. Robin Williams. (sob) Adam Sandler.
18. Favorite color?
Maroon!
19. Loud music or soft?
Definitely depends on the mood.
20. Where do you go when you’re sad?
I love Charlotte’s answer! “Within.” I can dig that. I go somewhere.. happier. The camera. The kids. The blog. The outdoors. The cookies.
21. How long does it take you to shower?
Anywhere from five to twenty minutes, depending on my hair.
22. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Anywhere from ten minutes to an hour, depending on my if I’m drying my hair or not. It’s a lot of hair!
23. Ever been in a physical fight?
No, except with siblings. I recall some scratches, bruises and fat lips. Mostly, I was the one giving them out!
24. Turn on?
All of the stuff I answered for quality in a partner. Good hair is a nice bonus, but not at all a requirement.
25. Turn off?
Intolerance and hatred. Having opposing political views than me.. can be a dealbreaker but isn’t always. Depends.
26. The reason I started blogging?
After a five year writing and photography dry spell, I needed something to start me talking, and hold me accountable.

27. Fears?
Death, loss, leaving my children, letting go, losing control, vomit, snakes, roller coaster, spinning things.
28. Last thing that made you cry?
Realizing that there’s a title attached to what I am experiencing – PTSD. I felt relief and fear all at once.
29. Last time you said you loved someone?
Five minutes ago when I was tucking Scarlet and little Bella into bed.
30. Meaning behind the name of your blog?
People have mispronounced my name wrong for years so when I introduce myself to someone I sometimes say, “It’s Tamara, like Camera.” And I like cameras. And it’s partly a photography blog. It just popped in my head one day and I went for it.
31. Last book you read?
“This Is Where I Leave You” By Jonathan Tropper.
32. The book you’re currently reading?
“The Book of Joe” also by Jonathan Tropper.
33. Last show you watched?
I think it was “Switched at Birth” on ABC Family.
34. Last person you talked to?
It was Scarlet! We played a game. She ate a cupcake. We snuggled her into bed with a kitten. I came upstairs to write.
35. The relationship between you and the person you last texted?
It was my husband. I was telling him that one of the cats peed on his grill cover outside. Romance isn’t dead!
36. Favorite food?
I can never answer this as one thing. It’s more like genres. Can I name several? I think I will!
Mashed potatoes, flavored coffee lattes with whipped cream, ice cream, chocolate, apples, broccoli, clam chowder, ravioli, bakery cookies, grilled salmon, thin burgers, homemade buttered popcorn, freshly picked raspberries, pasta salad, eggs, bacon, haddock, crab cakes, rotisserie chicken, and much more..
37. Place you want to visit?
I’d love to go to Alaska. More than anything.
38. Last place you were?
What does that even mean? Scarlet’s bedroom? The kitchen? I was at the school picking her up today.
39. Do you have a crush?
Oh, sure.
40. Last time you kissed someone?
Like I said, it was five minutes ago when I put Scarlet to bed.
41. Last time you were insulted?
Wait, are we really doing this? I was insulted because I told Scarlet to do something and Cassidy undermined any sense of authority I thought I had and told her she didn’t have to do it. That always gets me.
42. Favorite flavor of sweet?
What does that mean? I’ll go with chocolate!
43. What instruments do you play?
None, sadly. I was pretty good at teaching myself piano as a kid. I taught myself that “King of Wishful Thinking” song by ear.
44. Favorite piece of jewelry?
I’m definitely a fan of my engagement ring and wedding ring.
45. Last sport you played?
What does that even mean?? Just kidding. I don’t know, though.
46. Last song you sang?
“Let It Go”!
47. Favorite chat up line?
“That shirt is very becoming on you. If I were on you, I’d be coming too!” (isn’t that awful?)
48. Have you ever used it?
Not seriously!
49. Last time you hung out with anyone?
A couple of weeks ago I went out to a trivia night at a bar. It was so much fun! I did pretty well at trivia too.
50. Who should answer these questions next?
Well, anyone who wants to do it. It was fun!

Let it be known you are truly one of my favorite people and yes I am so sorry that this week didn’t work for us, but I swear and promise that we will be doing this for real and when we do it is going to be amazing and totally worth the wait. I know I have said this before, but love you so much and thank you for always being so good and kind to me. Just so glad we are friends. Huge virtual hugs tonight from me to you 🙂
This was totally fun for me! Can’t wait until we swap – but no use rushing the good stuff. I’m so flexible with this. As a host, I take my creative license very far!
Adore you! Can’t believe we didn’t meet this summer. Booooo!
I know I truly can’t believe the whole summer went by and we didn’t meet. But you know when we do it is going to be amazing – I just know this and totally believe it in my heart of hearts! That said I love that you took creative license here and actually glad we put it off, because I had the Kindergarten Coffee Hour meeting today at Emma’s school with other parents, teacher and the principal. It was a great meeting and seriously cannot tell you how much I do love her school. Seriously all my initial hormonal feelings have been slowly chipped away by these wonderful people that are there for her now. Just had to share, because I know if anyone would get this, it would be you! Love you so much always 🙂
That is so awesome. I stayed a little late today to drop her off and see her friends, and I really got to experience the community of the school. It’s amazing. The first few days I think I was too much of a hot mess and I would race for my car, for fear of an anxiety attack. That is less so now.
I am going to try this again, but essentially just so happy our girls are doing so well and so are we now. Seriously, after the first week and even the end of the summer, feels good to have a little less stress and anxiety about kindergarten and school in general right about now! 🙂
Glad it worked! Sometimes my commenting system is weird.
There is definitely some relief called. We are a week in so far and she loves it.
Haha! I was chuckling through some of those answers at the end. Especially that awful line! 🙂 And you need to go to Alaska! I want to go back so badly. I actually asked Mike if we could extend our tickets. That’s how much I wanted to stay. I’ve never not been ready to come home. Maybe I could stowaway in your suitcase.
Yes! You should come with us and be our hired tour guide. You in???
These questions were a bit funny. I found that I was less trying to be funny with some than just the fact that my answers were genuinely ludicrous!!
Yay! This was fun…the cat burped on your lap and peed on the grill? oh my…what a busy little kitty LOL
Ha! I think the burp was Dinah and the pee was Bella. I think, anyway..
Nightswimming by REM is one of my favorite songs! It’s just so relaxing. And yes, you must go to Alaska some day!
That song is amazing!! I have a whole pandora station of that song and they never play it. How rude.
This was by far one of my fave posts of yours! I love the playful candor…had me laughing the whole way through. And that human-sized burp..wow, I didn’t know such a cat had it in them!
Have a wonderful weekend and lots of fun at the party! 🙂
I’m laughing too! I wasn’t even trying to be funny but some of the questions were ludicrous and yes, some of my answers were too. Couldn’t help it!
Have a great weekend!
hahaha I just love this AAF even without a partner you totally nailed it! Loved the answers and those penis balloons are totally hilarious. Didn’t have anything that fun at mine and for some reason I just can’t picture you giving out fat lips. lol 🙂
The fat lip was accidental but it happened! I just hope my brother has forgotten it by now..
My bachelorette party was tame as far as those things go. BUT, I went to bed at 5:00am and had to get up at 9:00 to drive to north jersey for the bridal shower.
Most people do the bridal shower first. Since I don’t drink, it was the reverse!
I held it together, though.
I would not have pegged you as a maroon girl! Not sure why. You seem more of a royal blue girl to me. Safe and Sound just came on the TV in that car commercial {singing Twilght Zone song}. Ok, this is a completely ridiculous comment. I need to stop now and go to bed.
Royal blue is my sexond favorite!! Close there.
I adore ridiculous comments, actually. And this post really doesn’t deserve too many serious ones.
Wow, 50 questions! You go girl!! I like reading people’s answers, but on like question 10 I personally would have started blanking out 🙂
I admit I lost steam a few times! Thought I’d just choose ten and call it a day.
I’m an overachiever about silly things.
Loved reading your answers, you are such a fun person. Wish we could get together and make a big old batch of cookies someday while our children and animals had great fun causing all kind of chaos!
That would be so much fun! And the best part is that my son would tire your daughter out. He is a very good sleep trainer.
This is SO awesome and what a list of questions!!! I must say I am NOT happy to see the word vomit on your list as a fear… didn’t I help you overcome that? I mean, first you took that HUGE risk and saw it on FB and then? You even saw it in my post!! AND? You didn’t even MENTION IT!!!
THAT is DEFINITELY PROOF you are NOT AFRAID any longer!!!! WOOT. 🙂
Tell Cassidy to NOT undermine your authority ever again. Not cool dude! That gets me too- and it’s a tough one, for both of us in our house. I’m usually the one that does that- but I really do try to respect Derek’s calls and he too, with mine- but it can be really HARD!! Our kids really do need to see we are united on ALL fronts.. even the small stuff.
Ha!! It takes a little bit more than a Facebook post and a blog post to get over a lifelong phobia, but I have to say you were very helpful. I just like the lighthearted and fun way of looking at it. Instead of a fearful one. So thank you for that, my dear!
I can help you out with freshly picked raspberries….tomorrow!
Nice! I really don’t like them at any other time of year the way I do right now.
I need to figure out Ask Away Friday because it always looks like so much fun! I think we would be friends in real life for so many reasons….but seriously – Toad The Wet Sprocket! One of my favorites ever, and nobody else seems to know who they are. I always tell everyone “Lana like banana”. I should have called my blog that. Pretty soon I won’t have two teens, and then what am I going to do about my blog name? 🙂 Obviously I was not thinking ahead.
I bet people say it a lot like Lonna or Laina, right?
I went to see toad the wet sprocket live, years after they initially broke up. It was one of the best experiences of my life. They were just touring with counting crows this summer too. And anytime you want to swap for ask away Friday, let me know! It’s easy!
Aw, I love this, all of this. I read Charlotte’s too, and thought, yay, blog post idea!
Though flavor of sweet is kinda weird. Could it be because an English person came up with that question, because they refer to candy as sweets (as I do too).
Oh! That makes a lot of sense. I was going to do this prompt on Monday, after my long party weekend, but I couldn’t resist doing it already.
Loved your answers this week, and the text between you and Cassidy cracked me up. We have a fair share of those too, mainly relating to the kitten which is now getting very brazen!
Honestly, the kittens are usually very non-destructive. One of them got locked outside and for some reason they won’t just pee in the grass like other animals! Nope. It has to be something ridiculous like a grill cover on the ground.
Good for you for doing all 50 questions! Number 41 is my favorite, only because that kind of stuff really annoys me, too…ah, husbands! ;)-Ashley
It’s a hard balance. I tend to be more passive, and he tends to be more assertive, but sometimes he seems to forget that I’m here too. And that she loves me! Naturally.
I can’t believe I did all of the questions. About a quarter in, I thought maybe I’d only do 10.
wowza! 50 questions!! Maroon is a fantastic color, its my favorite lipstick actually it makes me feel regal when I wear it. I don’t have any tats either! and Adam Sandler is absolutely one of my favorite actors as well.
I honestly can’t believe I did 50. The word count wound up being similar to my normal stuff, because usually I write a whole paragraph or two for each of 10 questions.
So weird, was JUST thinking about Pete & Ellen the other day (even looked up the actors on IMDB). And my sister was telling me I should watch Once Upon a Time, it’s next on my Netflix list!
It’s a wonderful show!
Okay, so I had a big crush on big Pete. Big time. He must’ve reminded me of someone. And that episode when he and Ellen walked off into the sunset together holding hands is one of my favorite pieces of television history.
I love posts like this and I’ve book marked it to use in the future:). Thanks for posting the video too, I’m going to have the song in my head all day. Sincerely thank you (not sarcastic).
Sincerely, you’re welcome. If someone put it in my head all day, I’d be pretty happy. I definitely do things like that, with bookmarking blog prompts. You never know when you’re gonna need something like this.
hope this comment doesn’t go to spam – tried to comment twice yest. and said it was spam – I didn’t even use the p word yesterday either – lol
anyway cool post. Love all the questions – hope you have fun at the bridal shower & bachelorette party 🙂
Ha!! It wasn’t you. I appreciate you trying to leave a comment. My commenting system was broken from Wednesday night into Thursday. My web guy fixed it very fast.
Love all the questions! Also, we have many of the same favourite foods – except eggs. I am not a fan of the humble egg on its own. In baked goods though? Perfectly OK. 🙂
Totally awesome in baked goods. I’m more of a salty breakfast person. I don’t really like to eat pancakes and waffles and French toast. Which is kind of strange. I definitely appreciate them, but they don’t let me have my fill. Give me eggs, bacon, and potatoes any day.
Has anyone used that line on you?
I love Adam Sandler, he can always make me laugh… well… except for in the movie Reign Over Me, that mad me sad.
XO
Ha! No. Someone taught me that line in high school. I can’t remember who it was, sadly.
Reign Over Me is very intense. I think I cried the whole movie. At the time I really related to the subject matter.
*Obviously, I’m still practicing my son’s spelling words, I meant made me sad not mad/sad.
I cried the whole time too, I had to stay up and watch something funny to help me fall asleep.
XO
I think with me too! I needed something lighter. Watched “An American Tale.” Then sobbed from that!!
Didn’t notice your spelling mistake!
There’s so much I want to say! I’ll start with I LOVE the picture of you on the floor with Cassidy. You two are way too cute. Fresh picked Raspberries? Clam Chowder? Yes!!!
I’d like to say I’m so tolerant of opposing political views but it’s not true. It can be a point of contention for me- especially when it’s shoved in my face. Deal breaker. That’s why I prefer NOT to know when I’ve already decided I like someone because it can change everything for me…
Your mom is rocking that sundress!
Have you been to Tawnya’s blog? http://littlebabyscarlett.blogspot.com She just came back from an Alaskan vacation and her pictures have convinced me I must go too.
Yes, she is totally rocking that dress! I wonder if the still has it.
I’ve never seen Tawyna’s blog before but I think I need to get on it! She’s a writer/photographer with a kid with the same name as mine. We’re twins!
I am about to have some fresh picked raspberries TODAY! From NJ.
I have read all your posts but I really learned alot about you from this one. When one parent undermines another’s authority is so horrible. JC does it to me all the time and I really want to slap him up some times. LOL! These were super fun pics too!! I hope you do get to go to Alaska one day. I hope all your dreams come true!
Thank you! And I hope all of your dreams come true too. Sometimes parenting is just very hard. Especially with the coparent.
Oh, Tamara–I loved all of your answers to these questions!! And you already know that this I can totally relate to, in response to the “things I miss” question: “Living life without so much fear and anxiety.” Le sigh. Today that really strikes a nerve for some reason. We’ll get through it together though, right??
Also, I’m glad that some of these questions weren’t clear to you either. At first I was like, “am I an idiot? Why doesn’t that make sense?” LOL!!
Furthermore, I love that your kitty made several appearances in this post, from vomiting to peeing on grills, she has been very terrorizing your family, it appears :p
In the least creepy way possible, that photo of you with camera is so incredibly stunning. I so thoroughly enjoy coming here and learning more about you. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, my sweet!
As you can see, I could not wait for Monday to do these questions.
It was not as exhausting as I would’ve thought! So I want to thank you again for it and when I was reading your answers, I saw so much inspiration for my own
Awww, thank you 🙂 I’m so glad I could be of some help! XOXO
You have no idea! It freed up Monday for me to do something else very powerful that was another person’s idea too. You both have helped me so much!
Oh Emma and Hook!! *swoon* Also, it’s awesome to know I now have another Twitter peep to gush over this show with. LOVE me some OUAT. As for the anxiety/PTSD path you’re on, know that you’re not alone, my friend. One day, if you want, I’ll share my story with you. Just know you can reach out and I’ll always listen *hugs*
Yes, we will be gushing so soon! I also watch Revenge. Do you?
I would love to hear your story one day. When you are ready. I’m so glad we became friends!
I watched the first season of Revenge, but couldn’t keep up with the second :/
I LOVE Jonathan Tropper’s books. I think I’ve read them all to this point.
I’m only 5’3. I’m short. And plump. Sort of. It depends how much I’ve eaten during the week.
I’d like a penis balloon. I do drink, but only cocktails. And it’s rare. And after 2, I’m drunk.
I’m pretty sure I once got buzzed off of NyQuil. Which of Jonathan’s books should I read next?
LOL on your chat line! If you ask me now, I won’t be able to think of anything. Weird question, has the cat ever peed on Scarlet’s bed before? Because I see they sleep together? LOL. One day, I arrived home from work to find my mother in law’s cat on our bed and I was horrified. Haha because I’m not a cat person, not even a pet person. Good thing she did not pee on the bed but on the floor. Turned out my husband and son slept on the other house for the night and forgot to lock our bedroom.
Ha!! Noooo. The cat got locked out of the house for hours and got desperate outside. Why a grill cover and not grass? Not sure!
There haven’t been home accidents at all.
So many great questions and answers. I had no clue that you were a Leo too. 😉 I am a bit older than you though but we share the same birthday month too.
Nice! Happy belated to you then!
Love all the question and anwers. We have a lot in common (including our birthdays, which we talked about before). Ha loved the bachlorette photos too! How did you like the book, this is where I leave you? I am thinking of picking it up for an upcoming trip. Is it sad or uplifting?
It’s both, honestly. Sad and uplifting. Ridiculously funny. Vulgar too!!
I loved it. I really recommend it.
O-M-G!! You have a TARDIS dress!! And 115? I hate you. Not really.
We should totally do a Dr. Who #AAF some time.
Yes!! Anytime!!
I want the TARDIS dress on thinkgeek.com. Or the Dalek one!
I love this! It is so much fun learning more about you! I love the penis balloons, LOL! My kind of party! It may sound a little stalkerish, but I love seeing pictures of you and Cassidy together! They are so much fun! I am a hopeless romantic, so great couple pictures just make my day!
Nothing stalker-ish about it at all! I feel the same way.
The penis party was incredible. Just incredible.
HAHA to the last sport you played being “What does that even mean” and then not knowing. Happy penis party, friend. I hope it’s awesome (was it last night or tonight? either way, I hope it’s truly awesome). Also cats are gross as I already mentioned. That burping a small sized human thing on your lap? Proof.
It was Saturday night! So technically it is already Sunday here. I didn’t stick it out for the whole night because I have to drive several hours with two kids tomorrow (today), but it was a wonderful penis party full of penises.
Oh – I love this pumped up version of “ask away” Friday!!!
I’m right there with you on not liking to be undermined – I think the only time I really feel it is a day like today since Chris is fixing to head out of the country for a week – I feel like I should get to make all the choices leading up to him being gone since ultimately I will be the one carrying the load. Oh well, usually just petty stuff and me being cranky!!!
I hear that!
I think it can happen a lot in our household if I am feeling weak because he is somebody who likes to control things a certain way. And really I do just fine when it’s just me and the kids and pets. Which is the default setting!
Oh that line is dreadful. LOL
I once had a guy ask me if I had ever been dipped in Woolite. What does THAT even mean?
am I soft and cuddly? sweet smelling? to be used in the rinse cycle? I can’t even…
I actually had this guy once come up and start playing with my hair – fanning it out around my face (it was long and very thick like yours then) and I’m just like… What?? But the thing is, it FELT really good. Someone playing with your hair. And then he says, “sorry, I just wanted to see what it would look like fanned out on my pillow.”
I mean, come on.
I admit, I was torn on that one. 🙂
OTP: Hawkeye and Black Widow. I just really need to know what happened in Budapest. 🙂
I think I might be torn on that line too.
I’m pretty much oblivious. I don’t even know if I’ve gotten any good lines ever, because when they are happening, I don’t recognize them for what they are. I usually just think that somebody doesn’t want me. That’s pretty much how I think all the time. It doesn’t help that I have a white minivan and two kids.
I LOVE the pictures…especially the first couple ones. Hehe.
My biggest fears are death, loss, and leaving my children too! So, you’re not alone.
I am so glad! So many people answer their fears questions with things that I don’t find very scary. I do have one legit phobia, but mostly everything else is just a fear. Some of them, I find to be very deep.
So many interesting questions! I can’t wait for the new season of Once Upon A Time 🙂
I know! I keep counting down the days. It’s one of the few things I like about winter. It’s chock-full of new TV.
That was a fun read. I think I sing “Let It Go” at least once everyday, but I’m a fan of the Frozen soundtrack.
We listen to it a lot in the car. It’s a genius song because it gets stuck in your head, and it is an empowering song.
Oh my goodness! These questions were hilarious! I was cracking up at your confusion in some of the questions because I would have been the same way. I can see maroon or red being your favorite! I think I would have thought red first. Same thing has happened with me and earrings. I really want to wear them again in my first hole. I cover my hair when I go out so the dangley ones would look nice, but I think I have to wait until my kids are older. I don’t want JR to pull them out.
I do love red, but maroon was always my favorite in high school because I wore maroon lipstick. And these days I’ve discovered that I look good in fuchsia. I am somebody who wears bright colors well and bright white, but no earthtones. I’m a winter!
Oh that pick up line was raunchy. Loved it. I guess that means I have a vulgar sense of humor. Maybe we can date? LOL. I can’t believe you answered all 50. I would have quit at #20!
haha! We’d make a fantastic couple.
I have a very sick mind. I always have. I don’t let it seep out VERY much on the blog, but I do let it seep out. I have to keep it real.
1. This was impressive. I could see where the hills were in these 50 questions, but you soldiered on. It was like Heartbreak Hill in the Boston Marathon. That’s the one, right? Where you don’t cheer, because the runner has to conquer that one alone?
2. What’s the story behind the love shack picture? Either that’s the Valentine’s Day to beat all, or someone was trying to climb out of the doghouse.
3. Did you really answer a question about the penis pasta with the term “stick it out there”?
I don’t know about Heartbreak Hill! I can go investigate within my own state, though.
By love shack picture, do you mean the last one? That was my engagement. A neighbor snuck in while were at The Police concert (naturally) and I came home, didn’t notice it, put my purse down in the bedroom, and noticed a burning candle smell.
As far as I’m concerned, any questions about penis pasta deserve a good answer.
How long (pa-dum-dum) until #PenisPasta trends?
Should we start it? If there were to be a hashtag that I become famous for, that’s what I’d like it to be. It really describes my personality.
too bad we can’t make it #PenisCookies
There used to be a bakery here, that had a whole back room of stuff like that. I see no reason why I shouldn’t start that kind of business up again, and use the hashtag too.
You learn so much from these memes. I love Tori and am a big fan of Tropper’s work. I don’t think I could ever choose one thing as my favorite food either. So many things that I like. I enjoyed reading your answers, Tamara.
There are just too many foods in this world, and too many moods and health issues to feed those moods!
I feel cheated that I’ve never seen that quote before….LOVE it! Some of these questions are bizzare, though. I never knew there were different flavors of sweet. Executions, yes…but sugar’s pretty much sugar, you know?
People always attribute that quote to the original writer of Winnie the Pooh. However, a lot of fact checkers say it was just from the Disney movie. It’s still brilliant.
That question totally confused me but a friend pointed out that it could’ve been a question from Europe. I think it’s England or somewhere else, where they call candy sweet. So you’re basically just answering your favorite candy. I botched it.
Phew – you did great! 50 questions in one go and all answered. To pick one – I am with you on everything in #36 😉
Hah – gotcha! You went back to see what it was 😀
You are right! I went and looked. That is a good one to agree with. Mashed potatoes are so special to me but I never have them. On Sunday night after we got back from my trip to New Jersey, Cassidy made me mashed potatoes. And we have leftovers. I’ve been in flavor heaven.
This was a fun post! Out of all the questions and answers, do you know what stands out most for me? The old school phone in the photo with you and Cassidy on the floor. Random, right?
I was totally waiting for someone to notice that! I am so glad it was you! The funniest thing is that it doesn’t really date the photo, because I’m pretty sure he had that flip phone until recently.
What an awesome post! I have to admit that I noticed the old school phone, too! It actually looked like the one that my oldest son had for years! LOL! I also thought that the kiss between Emma and Hook was awesome, I would rather see them together! Maroon is one of my favorite colors, too, not quite red and not quite purple! There is nothing better than tucking in the lil ones for bed, I still get to with lil miss, even though she is 12! Have a great weekend, my friend!
I am still laughing about the phone! I bet a lot of people noticed it and didn’t say it. However, he just got an iPhone recently. So that photo isn’t really dated. We still look like that!
