If you guessed SeaWorld Orlando, you are correct! This is the third stop on our theme park circuit (I think.. things could have changed..) and I don’t think I’ll be doing anything too daring today, unless you consider the Shamu Express daring. It’s 28 mph and I think they probably let three-year-olds on it, but I digress. The reason we’re doing SeaWorld is because they’re awesome and I got media passes, and also because Des is obsessed with that shark tunnel. He even watched the scene in Jaws 3 in which the shark crashes into the tunnel and it bursts and people are all screaming and running amok. No one died in that scene so Des is pretty happy. And he doesn’t even remember that he once went through that very tunnel in 2014.
I’m digressing, though. With a monster storm headed our way, we had to push our trip a day early. As I write this, I’m still in MA but as you read this, just hope we landed in 80 degrees and LOVED our extra day. Maybe pellet stoves and dry skin are a thing of the past. It will all be there when we come back, along with this Pink Strawberry Hot Chocolate Recipe.

Now tell me – have you ever ridden the Shamu Express and lived to tell the tale?

Aw, hope you are enjoying Sea World today and can’t wait to hear all about it when you return!! 🙂
That was also the day we drove to the beach house and it was 70 degrees even there in northern Florida. Wah. I miss it!
