We already use the brand as a whole! I use Hood Heavy Cream in my coffee – just a touch is exactly what I love! We have Hood Sour Cream with many of our favorite meals – with hash browns, over nachos, and on quesadillas too! Hood Milk is our choice, and that’s because Hood knows that every glass and every drop of milk matters for your family. So they protect the milk from the moment it leaves the farm to the moment it enters your fridge. And that’s why when you choose Hood Milk, you are getting the best quality milk for your family. We know we are!
Our Favorite Kid-Friendly Smoothie with Hood Milk:
What You Need:
1 cup Hood Milk
2 cups frozen fruit and/or fresh greens (we use kale)
1/3 cup avocado or a nut butter
A bit of a natural sweetener, like honey or maple syrup (optional)
What You Do:
Blend it all up! That’s really it. Sometimes I use my two cups for berries and bananas, and sometimes I add kale or spinach – depending on the kid I’m making the smoothie for, and that’s really it. It’s perfectly sweet as is, but sometimes if I add more avocado or nut butter, I add a touch more sweetener. If the smoothie is too thick, add more Hood Milk. Scarlet pretty much always wants me to add more milk, but Des likes his thicker. I even make these more adult friendly for me, and add chia seeds or more kale. Sometimes even ground flaxseeds!
