My first two are spread out by exactly three years, so that was my norm for so long. I had two fall first trimesters, two spring and summer births, and I thought I had it all figured out for life. Until, baby Rider came along – with his winter first trimester and fall birth. And now I’ve just completed a summer first trimester and I’ll have an early spring birth! Basically, everything I thought I knew went out the window, about pregnancy, breastfeeding, and raising babies and toddlers. Sure, I know things will change dramatically with my older two, as they are nine and 12 right now, but it’s going to be so interesting having four kids in 2022. I’m glad I’ll have some help from my older two, who are already so helpful with Rider, and I’m glad I have really awesome products for the rest of pregnancy, and for having a baby again. Times are definitely changing!
My Wishlist for Pregnancy and Breastfeeding (Sometimes Doing Both at Once):
1 – Bamboobies:
Oh, how I needed Bamboobies with Rider, and I’ll need them again! Bamboobies puts moms first. When I was having some pretty significant pain from nursing, with very sore nipples, my sister sent me Washable Nursing Pads and Organic Nipple Balm. She also sent me candy, so it was the best of everything healing. The Washable Nursing Pads are the #1 sustainable washable nursing pad. They are designed with super-soft velour made from renewable bamboo, and the heart shape contours to your breast to be less visible under clothing, no matter your cup size. For me, they were really key on being soothing and also holding in the cream and not staining my nursing bras with it. I had originally bought disposable pads but they itched so badly that my mom friends told me I had to go with washable nursing pads. They were right!
As for the Organic Nipple Balm, it’s the #1 organic nipple balm, because more moms choose Bamboobies! There is no need to wipe it off before breastfeeding, as it’s safe for mom and baby. It has no lanolin, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, or animal testing. And it’s recommended by experts, and made in the USA! I know for a fact, that this nipple cream is going right in my hospital bag again!
Right now there’s a promo! Use promo code: BABBLEBOXX which is valid from 10/15/21 – 12/31/21. It’s only valid on full price items at Bamboobies.com. This offer cannot be combined with other coupons. Not valid on previous purchases. Discount not valid on Gift Cards.
2 – TOMY/The First Years:
Ok, so here’s the thing. We had two bassinets when Rider was a newborn. Once he outgrew them, around six months, I donated them! I really thought he was my last! So lately we’ve been thinking about which room to convert into a nursery, and realized we could get by with one changing table for both babies, but we need a new crib. And then we realized, “WE NEED A BASSINET!” When we bring our babies home, they don’t go into cribs in their nurseries quite yet. They sleep in our bedroom in a bassinet. So, I am happy to have The First YearsTM First Dreams 3D Portable Bassinet. It is simple to set up, and also features an easy one-hand 3D fold that lets you keep your other hand free. It’s a portable bassinet so it’s perfect for travel and easily moving from room to room during the day. Plus the full mesh sides allow for increased air flow, and help you to see the baby from anywhere in the room. You can find out more about it here.
We also proudly have The First YearsTM Gentle Warmth Digital Bottle Warmer. This is awesome! It’s a warm water bath that evenly and consistently heats breast milk from frozen, refrigerated, or room temperature. It also heats formula and baby food, and keeps them warm for longer than steaming. And, there’s a sterilize function for pacifiers! The easy to use digital touchscreen allows you to quickly customize times and temperatures to choose the mode of use. And it works with most bottle types and milk storage bags, as well as baby food jars! Find out more about it here.

4 – WishGarden:
I’m really excited to be working with WishGarden. I was already familiar with AfterEase, and now I have discovered Baby Blues Mood Support as well! AfterEase is formulated to soothe normal and temporary afterbirth contractions that occur when the uterus contracts and returns to its normal pre-pregnancy size. These pains usually last for 2-3 days after birth, and become more common the more times a woman gives birth. *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food & Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Now, I didn’t really have them noticeably with Scarlet, but they were very painful with Des. I was expecting even worse with Rider, but I guess since there is such a huge age gap between Des and Rider, it didn’t happen. That said, I AM expecting it after baby #4.
AfterEase helps to calm, support, and relax the body after birth and uses traditional herbs for postpartum care. It’s non-GMO, organic, and gluten-free.
As for Baby Blues Mood Support, it’s for when new moms experience the postpartum blues. The product is a powerful but gentle combination of herbs that provides nourishing nervines, liver tonics, and herbal balancers to support healthy hormone levels. It’s like a big herbal hug, providing in-the-moment and long term emotional and hormonal support for new mothers when they need it the most. *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food & Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
AfterEase ingredients are: Crampbark (Viburnum opulus), Black Haw bark (Viburnum prunifolium), Yarrow aerials (Achillea millefolium), Motherwort aerials (Leonurus cardiaca), Rocky Mountain artesian spring water, vegetable glycerine & organic gluten-free wheat alcohol. It’s an in-the-moment soother. Take 3 mL in a little water, and if needed, repeat in 5 minutes. *3ml is 3 dropper fulls. To get a dropper full squeeze the dropper top till it fills the pipette (about halfway up) and squirt in water 3 times to get the 3ml serving.
Baby Blues ingredients are: St John’s Wort aerials (Hypericum perforatum), Passionflower aerials (Passiflora incarnata), Motherwort aerials (Leonurus cardiaca), Dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale), Damiana leaf (Turnera diffusa, T. aphrodisiaca), Black Cohosh root (Actaea racemosa (syn. Cimicifuga racemosa)), Rocky Mountain artesian spring water, vegetable glycerine & organic gluten-free wheat alcohol. It’s also an in-the-moment soother, as well as a daily tonic for more persistent issues. Take 3 mL in a little water, and if needed, repeat in 5 minutes. For persistent discomforts, take 3 mL 3-4 times a day or as practitioner recommended. *3ml is 3 dropper fulls. To get a dropper full squeeze the dropper top till it fills the pipette (about halfway up) and squirt in water 3 times to get the 3ml serving.
5 – Triple Paste:
Like Baby Magic, I’ve written about it, I use it (just today), and I’ll use it again. This is the premium choice to help, treat, and prevent diaper rash. It’s a thick and soothing cream that works quickly to provide all-in-one triple protection, and contains just the right amount of medicine to treat diaper rash, while also being free from unnecessary ingredients. It’s fragrance-free, contains non-nano zinc oxide, and is paraben-free, preservative-free, talc-free, phthalate-free dye-free, and hypoallergenic. It’s a unique formula that also contains oat extract and beeswax, and delivers remarkably fast and soothing relief for red and irritated skin. Rider had such a bad rash earlier tonight, so I’m really glad we have Triple Paste in many forms!
Of course we love that it’s pediatrician recommended, dermatologist tested, accepted by the National Eczema Association, and verified by the Environmental Working Group. This diaper cream is our favorite, and it goes everywhere we go. Coupons and product info are available at triplepaste.com, so definitely check it out!
