Today’s Ladies Only Blog Share Link Party theme is Thankful Hearts.
Link up any posts about Thanksgiving and being thankful! I decided to take my own shot at writing seven things I’m thankful for:
1. A playdate at friend’s house, in which you have lunch together around the kitchen table. Then you sink into their couch while watching Des take tentative steps to the sound of Scarlet and her friend dancing along with the movie soundtrack from the Czech version of Cinderella. Oh yes.

2. Husbands who make me feel possible, when I wake up feeling impossible. These are always the mornings in which Des is flinging food at my hair, Scarlet is calling me a “grumpy person” (BIG insult there) and I’m getting emails that are asking me to bend and stretch myself in painful yet beautiful photography and writing ways. I start to panic. He brings me back.
(We’re feeling very possible here. I’d like to channel that feeling..forever)
3. I’m thankful for working with great, genuine, inventive, flexible companies like WeMontage. Seriously can’t say enough about working with James, and with the beautiful photo wallpaper we have on the kids’ walls.
For the holidays, WeMontage has a 20% gift code (code HOLIDAYS) that you can use by clicking on their logo below. For the first time, WeMontage will include that discount on their e-GIFT card, which can be ordered up until December 25th, making it the best last minute gift..ever. WeMontage also recently added a 3′ x 2′ size, which is great for smaller spaces and rooms:

4. I’m also thankful for really good granola. You know who you are.
5. For having not one, but two things that I love and want to do..forever. I have a lot of work to do to grow a business. A lot of it is scary as anything to me, and causes me great anxiety. When I defeat these hurdles, I feel like I can do anything. I feel fortunate to have these two things, as I’d feel lost without knowing what I want to do in life – along with parenting great kids.
6. I’m thankful to be part of four living generations on my mom’s side of the family.
7. Lucky number seven. I’m thankful for the people who are on my blogging/writing/book-authoring journeys with me. Such as my four spectacular co-hosts of Ladies Only Blog Share Link Party:
Michelle from A Dish of Daily Life

Crystal from Mommifried

Angela from WriterMom’s Blog

Kristen from Four Hens and a Rooster

I think I know your granola distributor!!! LOL Man, we three- we need to get together!!!
I love what you are thankful for. Truly beautiful things. XOXOXO
We do. We really do!! I bet it will happen.
Thank you!
Great list Tamara. I'm so pleased with my We Montage I ordered for the God son earlier this year when Michelle posted. I'm going to do 1 for the other two.
I’m so glad! They’re such a great company. I would never talk about them like this if they weren’t.
I loved reading this! Genuine thankfulness makes everyone feel brighter! I love a partner that makes you feel possible. That's what it's all about!! I was swooning over the 4 generations photograph. That. Is. Awesome! What a special, special thing! –Lisa
Thanks, Lisa! I figured it was time for a thankful post. Everyone does them and I figured it was time for my spin.
All wonderful things and people to be grateful for.
I love your wedding dress!
Thanks! I love bright white with a splash of red. No off-white for this girl.
Love that caption "We are feeling very possible". I need to get back to the your love story 😉
Yes!! You don't even have to wait days or weeks for it, like people had to when I first published it! They could read a lot faster than I could write.
Lot's a stuff to be thankful for! Yea for family & friends 🙂
The best stuff!
Such a wonderful list of thankfulness.
I love those feeling 'possible' photos. When I see mine I am instantly uplifted. 🙂
“Possible” photos are my favorites. I often really need to look at them for inspiration.
Perfect list, Tamara. I'm with you on the granola one. And it really doesn't get better than 4 generations in one photo.
Yes..the granola. Magic.
The only way I could top that photo is five generations! Hm…maybe it could happen..
Very thankful for alot of things including YOU my sweet T & all the #LOBS! Have a fantastic weekend! XO. ~A~
I’m thankful for you, Amber! I still remember when I “met” you on twitter and just thought, “Wait..who is this very nice girl??”
Awwww!!!! Thank you….. XOXO… Happy Friday, lovey!
Happy weekend to you!!
Wonderful things to be thankful for!
Thanks! I had a lot of fun making my list.
who doesn't love really good granola??!? Have a great weekend! I should link up to this now that I'm back blogging again 😉 I need to meet some new friends!
xoxo
Jen
I’m so glad you’re back! I’m adding you to my Bloglovin. You’ll meet some really great friends if you stick around here. Some of the best in the blogging world.
Thank you for this party! I am so thankful for meeting people like you Tamara that help full my life with Joy. I hope you and your adorable family have a blessed Thanksgiving. Thank you for all your visits 🙂
I'm thankful to have "met" you as well, Raquel! Your posts always make me hungry, happy or wanting to travel to California.
We totally do the princess up dress up here all the time. And I swear Scarlet, Emma and Lily would be fast friends if they got to meet and hang out. But seriously so much to be thankful for indeed and wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead now, too!! 🙂
Wishing you a wonderful weekend too! I have to work on Saturday and then there will be new Doctor Who. And Sunday is the Sofia the First movie – woohoo to that one!!
I’m so getting my dad and stepmom a wemontage of all the places we traveled with them in 2013. Thank you for the coupon code – it will be put to good use!
Yes! You will love it. Best gift ever. You've seen the photos of mine. You can't beat it.
So much to be thankful for. I’m thankful that every time I see a photo of Scarlet in a princess dress it makes me smile. The whole Disney princess marketing blitz took off right as my daughter lost interest, so I never had a Belle or a Ariel or a Jasmine.
Yeah, I don’t remember it being this massive thing until recently. I think I liked princesses as a kid, but not..anymore than I liked G.I. Joe dolls.
We all have so much to be thankful for. I have to tell you Tamara, I am very thankful for your friendship. You have been a wonderful friend to me throughout my blogging journey, with your advice and just lending an ear. Many hugs to you…thank you!
Michelle! I am very thankful for you too! We met in real life. We have MOAM and LOBS, and WeMontange, and many, many more things. And you were my first guest post!
I’m thankful that I’ll cry like a televangelist after an arraignment tonight. Grace is performing in her first musical. I get the waterworks when the kids do something like this. I’m gratefully thankful.
And I’ll stay on the sideline fpr the Lady’s Only today. Not that I forgot my pumps, but I don’t want to feel like a Midol a man has swallowed, wondering where he’s supposed to go and how he got here!
I’m always thankful to cry like a televangelist!!
I have never swallowed a Midol, though, so now I’m intrigued that maybe I should.
What a wonderful list! I love that picture of you and your hubby — my husband is a big fan of chuck taylors, too. =)
I am too! They have quite a flair. Thank you!
Your photos are so lovely 🙂
I like the white dress so much *.*
Thank you! I really love pure white. I look terrible in any offshoot of it.
all lovely things and people to be grateful for, tamara!
i’m with you on the granola one.
love yous photos and your wedding dress is so pretty!
happy weekend xo
(btw. i’d love to re-read your post about “fake it…or something like that when you’re not in a blogging mood; can’t remember the title though i’m afraid…)
Hm..now I’ll have to investigate which post you mean!! I think it was a tips post. Oh! “How To Call It In!” Something like that!
Here it is!
https://tamaracamerablog.com/2013/03/tips-on-phoning-it-in.html/
Great post. This year I am thankful for all the amazing people I have “met” through my blog, especially you! You offer so much support and are always so kind. So thank you!
Oh, thank you so much! I'm always so happy when you visit.
You have some pretty awesome things to be thankful for on that list. I’m loving that photo with the four generations, that is so amazing!
Thanks, Jessica! I can’t stop looking at it.
Your list is perfection. You are possible. And amazing. I’m channelling THIS.
Yes!! You’re amazing too.
thanks so much, Tamara! xo
What a super great list, Tamara!!! Definitely lots to be thankful for!
I’m thankful that I’ve gotten to “know” you the past # of months!
Kim, you're one in a million! Very thankful for you.
Scarlet calls you grumpy and Reagan tells me that I’m not her best friend anymore as she runs down the hall crossing her arms with a stink face! What is that??
These girls. They are going to be the death of us. We love them and they are the biggest gifts we have ever been given but holy hell.
You are such a beautiful lady … and I am thankful to have you in my life. Even if it is in brief stints through a computer screen.

You’re a beautiful lady too. Did I tell you about how she called me a grumpy person? She took it back last night. Temporarily, I bet.
Your post made me “feel” thankful! Life is beautiful, isn’t my friend? Not always glamorous…..but it so wonderful to take time and appreciate.
Ok side note here…Whenever I make it back to W.MA we are totally going to Holyoke Mall!
That side note is amazing. Come back!!! Get photos! Shop with me!!! Do I sound needy enough yet?
I wish I knew when I could get out there next time! But WE are totally shopping and enjoying a coffee shop! 🙂
I love possible photos – and I love that you have called them that! Wonderful things to be grateful for!
Yes, it just sorta happened yesterday! There’s a Michael Franti song about feeling impossible and his friends make him feel possible. I dig it.
I loved your list! So sentimental and wonderful. I forgot to tell you that I think JR might be opposite Des. Early walker and late talker. I mean, the fact that we're filling his head with 2 languages could have something to do with it, but he says several words some in one language and some in the other. By the time we meet, Des will be running with JR!
Yeah, it seems so common to be an early talker/late walker or vice versa! I guess they can really only pick one thing they’re really good at. Scarlet was a generalist – she could do everything on the early side of normal. Never early, never late.
Not me! Not Des!
I just love that photo collage wallpaper. And your wedding photo. And the multi-generational photo 🙂 Where did you get the striped shirt you’re wearing in that one? I love it!
Keep pushing through the scary – you’re a talented writer and photographer. I can’t wait to see where your journey takes you!!
Thanks! The striped shirt was from ebay! Like $7.00! I can't remember the company name but they're in Asia and they have funky clothes for petite people. Only problem is that I'm on the taller side so the sleeves are often short.
Thanks for your inspiration!
Wonderful list <3 I love so much your blog and your photos!!! Happy week-end dear Tamara !!!
Thank you! Hope it's really happy for you! Snow here!
Such amazing things to be thankful for. The black and white pic of Scarlet, I sure hope you have it framed somewhere, it is just so so beautiful.
You know, we don't but I think we should!
Wonderful things to be thankful for. I’m sure having your own business is exciting and scary and fun and stressful all in a good way. It’ wonderful that you have this opportunity.
All of those things for sure! I'll get there someday..
I love this. I have to get my act together and link up. I love that I am on this journey with you. 🙂
I love it too!! And I'd love for you to link up!
I love your 7 thankful things. I especially love the one with your husband. That’s how I feel at times with mine. He keeps me grounded. You worry about your photography and I keep telling you that you’re amazing. There’s no need to worry! I wish we could spend Thanksgiving with you but maybe one day. I hope you had an amazing weekend!
I just need to keep listening to you! Wish we could have Thanksgiving together this year. We're hosting it for family and friends. Madison and Des could sit at the kids table together! Scarlet might join them too.
I am working on my Thankful Post too! Then will link up. But yours inspired me!
Thank you, Allison! I love that you link up with us often.
Lovely post! We all have so much to be thankful for. I admit that I sometimes forget to have a grateful heart, but I do remember to be thankful more often than not. I think I'll do some sort of thankful post tomorrow. One of these days I'll actually make life easier by scheduling posts and can add that to the list of things I'm thankful for! And btw, I am thankful for you are a blogging/author friend on this journey. You are a true supporter!
Of course, Andrea! I love everything you write. It’s like I’m right there with you hearing you talk over coffee.
Awww, great post. I love hearing what everyone is thankful for, so similar and different all at the same time. That first photo of your daughter is beautiful, love the eyes! Hope you have a wonderful holiday!
Thanks, Stephanie! I hope you do too!
You are very blessed my dear friend…especially having someone to help you feel possible…much love!!
Much love to you, and thank you!
Dude. I'm in Tennessee. On my MIL's computer. And I had to pull up your website, even though I'm behind on blogs to show her the types of photos I want of Tucker. I bought a mega-camera. I don't get photos like yours. I need you to travel to DC. Please? Also? I'm a little buzzed from scotch so I know you'll not know I'm a creeper when I say I adore you.
Scotch or not, I would never think that of you. Even if it were true. I adore you too and I (think?) know I'm not a creeper.
I want to come to DC. I need to hand off these pesky kids!
