I know I sound like most moms, but it is so hard to find the time to work out!
It was certainly a lot easier for me last year before I had the baby, which makes sense. Now I juggle two kids remote schooling, for now, anyway, as well as a five-month-old baby who has a lot of needs during the day! I work two jobs as well, and while I can take time off, I like to fill at least some of that time with self care. Working out should be fun. It should be something you look forward to every day, or at least a few times a week, if we’re being honest. And it shouldn’t be difficult. Enter, iFit. This is how I get my fun busy mom workouts in! It has more than 100 world-class trainers, as well as diverse studio classes, and so much more! No matter where you are in your fitness journey, iFit has solutions for all with inspirational and relevant app content.

You will love it!

My Fun Busy Mom Workouts at Home With iFit:

iFit is for use with or without equipment, and you have the option to pair your equipment with Bluetooth before a workout. You can use it on a tablet, TV, or phone, so you can pretty much work out anywhere! I love being active with my kids. I know these are the memories they’ll be retaining, and I’m happy to model healthy behavior. That said, though, indoor and outdoor exercise are important to us. This time of year (mud season and winter conditions) can be super rough, so I set up my “home gym” in the main area of our living room. If Cassidy is home, we can do interactive workouts on the TV. My tablet is perfect for taking anywhere I want, though!

And of course, the phone is convenient:

What I Love About It:

What’s not to love about an interactive, personal training course from home? Also, there’s only one thing you need to work out – yourself! And of course, a tablet, TV, phone, etc. You can use it with your equipment, but you also don’t have to do that. The classes are available either way, and there are strength, meditation, yoga, walking classes, and more. There is an IMMENSE fitness library with thousands of workouts, and there are more than 100 world-class personal trainers. There are real-time stats so that you can stay on track during your workout, and you can view stats after your workout. I love the outdoor sessions. And did you know that there are live ones?

My Favorite Trainers and Workouts:

I am very beginner with Yoga, so of course I love Yoga For Beginners with Zein Salti. The intensity is a 1 out of 7, but Scarlet still cheered me on the whole time. She was like, “Mama, where IS she? That’s beautiful! Mama, you just burned 36 calories! 36!” ha! That was so cute. You get about three minutes to warm up, and then begin the series. There is calming music, beautiful scenery, as well as estimated calories burned, time elapsed, and estimated calories burned an hour. Although I don’t do this series to lose weight – it’s more for the mindfulness. It’s all a bonus, though. You also have the choice to skip ahead to cool down. I also did “Yoga for Beginners” in Thailand for Level 1 practice. If you have a treadmill, you have to try Beinn Alligin Hike, Part 1 in Scotland! It’s so scenic! It’s making me WANT a treadmill, pretty immediately.
