Milk n Cookies Cupcakes Recipe
These adorable Milk n Cookies cupcakes are SO easy to make (you can do it all homemade or almost all store-bought) and they’re delicious. I’m super charmed by the ease at which to make them (I do have four kids and five dogs and one cat and 30 chickens, you know), and they’re about as fun as can be. Make them for last-minute get togethers and playdates, for kid birthday parties, for adult birthday parties, because why not? Make them for random Tuesdays with wind storms, or when your dog tears apart an entire pet hair lint roller (oh, the irony). Just make them because they’re fun. You’ll love them.

Milk n Cookies Cupcakes Recipe:
What You Need:
12 vanilla cupcakes (homemade or store-bought – your call)
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups icing sugar
2-3 Tbsp milk
12 mini chocolate chip cookies (again, homemade or store-bought – your call)
4 paper straws
Yields: One dozen decorated cupcakes
Before beginning, be sure your cupcakes are completely cool to the touch. You don’t want your buttercream melting off your cupcakes! That would be such a tragedy!
What You Do:
1 – First, using an electric mixer, beat together softened butter, icing sugar and milk.
2 – Once the ingredients are completely combined, and have formed semi-stiff peaks, scoop into a piping bag with a Wilton’s 1M icing tip attached.
3 – Then, frost each cupcake.
4 – Place one cookie on the side of each frosted cupcake. This part is fun!
5 – Cut your straws into thirds and insert one into each cupcake.
Serve and enjoy!

And that’s that! Easy peasy, delicious, squeeze me. If you do make your mini chocolate chip cookies from scratch, please please share your best recipe! I tend to buy them. I may use Entenmann’s or Famous Amos or any mini bags of cookies I can find at the store. Although I would LOVE to perfect silver dollar sized cookies, though. How cool would that be?
So, would you make these gorgeous Milk n Cookies cupcakes?
