Melon’s House Party: Our New Discovery
Attention, music lovers and parents! We have something really fun here.
Melon’s House Party – Our New Discovery:
As you probably know, podcasts are more popular than ever! And now they’re not just for adults. This is an amazing alternative to screen time, as kids can be swept away into new worlds and adventures into imaginative storytelling. Wondery’s Melon’s House Party follows a pup’s musical adventures around the house, where we find out what happens if bookcases could talk, and couches become best friends. Home objects speak and sing, but in a key that only dogs can hear. Melon is a little dog – only eight-pounds, but she has a huge heart and an adventurous home! There are a slew of singing and talking friends in the house, like the record player, the computer, the bookshelf, and the Couch, of course. There is really a lot to love here!
Some fun details:
- There are new episodes every Wednesday!
- The show has original music, and it REALLY gets my kids dancing. All three of them!
- Episodes are around 30 minutes long, so it’s perfect to put on in the car or while doing things around the house, like chores, making dinner, etc.
- Like I said, this is a great alternative to screen time.
- Melon’s House Party is family friendly! It’s best for my 9 and 12-year-olds, but the baby loves it!
I love that they have podcasts for children. Definitely good for an alternative to video games and TV.
