I’m sorry, but is there anything better than spring brunch?

I’m certain I have a whole bunch of good memories that involve spring brunches. I can even think of two or three off the top of my head. Spring dresses, jean jackets, sandals, donuts, iced drinks; you know the deal. Spring is such a hopeful time. Right now in our yard, we have a rainbow of flowers growing, as well as green grass, and pretty buds on the trees. May is perhaps the prettiest time of year around here, and we are happy to be hosting a few warm weather brunches outside this spring and summer. We did a few of those last year, but it was difficult to see loved ones often. That’s why these small get-togethers are more important than ever to us.

I have written about Torani Syrups on my blog at least a half dozen times! And that’s for a good reason. These syrups are pretty epic. Whether you’re making hot or cold coffee drinks, or branching out into summer lemonades, mocktails, or cocktails, there’s a syrup for that. These syrups are made with real, simple ingredients, like pure cane sugar and natural flavors. Best of all, they mix well and are crafted to bring out the best in your drinks, so you can make a recipe all your own. I love how one flavor can create endless recipes. Plus you can add a spoonful of syrup to your coffee, latte, cocoa, and more, for an everyday treat. I keep a few syrups at home.

You never know when you will need one!

Lavender Lemonade with Lime:

What You Need:

1 cup Torani Lavender Syrup
6 cups water
1 cup white sugar
1 cup lemon juice
5 fresh lemons
Lime slices
Maraschino cherries
Dry lavender and dry lavender stalks, optional for serving

iced lemonade in pitcher

What You Do:

1 – Add water to a large pitcher, and then stir in sugar and lemon juice until sugar is completely dissolved.

2 – Add lavender syrup and juice of 2 lemons. Mix well.

3 – To make garnish, cut lemon into slices. Thread a lime slice folded in half, lemon slice folded in half and cherry onto a toothpick.

4 – Slice remaining lemons and place into the serving glasses and pitcher if desired.

5 – Serve lemonade over ice, topped with garnish.

Serves 8-10

Ah, brunch. We do a Sunday brunch a lot in spring, so feel free to share your favorite brunch recipe in the comments. I love to read them! Do you have a favorite lemonade recipe as well? For a little advice, make sure your pitcher can hold 9 cups of liquid (and garnishes like lemon slices) before making this recipe. We like to gather some garden flowers in a vase on the table, and have a mix of sweet and savory dishes. My favorite sweet dishes are usually pancake or french toast bakes with chocolate with drizzle. Add eggs, fruit, meat, and lemonade!
