Gluten Free Snack Platter | Kid-Friendly!

Having a kid friendly, gluten free snack platter is crucial for after-school and camp snacks, play dates, parties and entertaining! Ever notice how many times a kid asks for a snack on a summer’s day? Since school is winding down yet again, I’ve been planning ahead for summer camp and play dates.

You see, this was the second school year with two kids in the same school and this summer will be a little different than last year. We’re doing a little less camp and a lot more travel, adventure, and time with friends. This is big! Scarlet aged out of our favorite summer camp last summer so I’m taking this opportunity to enjoy bonus time with her. Although there will still be several weeks in which I’ll be packing two camp lunches a day, AND, preparing for that post-camp, late afternoon fierce hunger. Plus, play dates galore! Am I ready? Why, yes I am.

We have one family member with gluten-sensitivity, and not only that, we have many friends who are gluten-sensitive. This means that we want to offer quick, flavor-packed snacks that are inclusive to ALL! What do I love? Inclusive snack solutions for my family! When do these snacks come in handy? The list is exhaustive, but includes after school, after camp, birthday parties, play dates, get togethers, last minute plans, road trips, and travel – as in beach house food!

My favorite thing is to make a kid friendly, gluten-free snack platter. A cheese and crackers board! This is totally fun for all. Pair your favorite GOOD THiNS gluten free varieties with cheese slices, assorted olives, and seasonal fruit. In fact, I can’t think of a better snack for summer! And beyond, of course! So think of me when you’re making an awesome gluten free snack platter this summer!

  2. I have seen these in the store but have not tried them yet! I love that they are GF as some of my friends prefer GF foods. I haven’t tried them yet, but I am thinking the cheese will be my favorite.
