We were long overdue for a date night. With the craze of the holidays and both being house guests and having house guests, it was pretty easy to get lost in the shuffle. Then it was already time for back to school and I really missed the kids! The holiday vacation was so action packed, that I didn’t really get a chance to have one-on-one time with the kids! That’s really important to me – to have that special time where we do something just us. So when we set out for Chuck E. Cheese in Attleboro for a grand reopening party, I knew we’d have an awesome time together!
How to Have the Best Kid Date at Chuck E. Cheese:
First, let’s talk location!
So, we went to Attleboro because Chuck E. Cheese recently remodeled the interior and exterior of this restaurant! This is a flagship restaurant location, and the remodel focus was on fresh food and fun for the WHOLE family. And truly, I had a blast as well. What I love is that this new design highlights the pizza-making process, and introduces more of a restaurant atmosphere for parents to enjoy. We were able to set up at a table, where I could read, write, work, and still keep my eye on Des the whole time – while we waited for food. That way he could still play the amazing fun and games that have made Chuck E. Chuck a place where a kid can be a kid.
And now let’s talk about food!
At Chuck E. Cheese, they make delicious pizzas from scratch daily. Also, the remodeled stores feature open kitchens, so you can actually watch the pizza making process! And they have a fresh salad bar, which I saw them attend to frequently – making sure they didn’t run out of any delicious items. And Des was able to order his favorite foods. I got a number that they helped me put on my table, and I waited for the food while he played. Bonus is that the food came while he was playing basketball, so I was able to sneak fries!
Chuck E. Cheese appeals to the whole family:
They created a more adult ambiance. They used warm wood, neutral tones, and streamlined graphics to create a calmer, more inviting, and more friendly environment. If you need a break from flashing lights and games, you just go and sit in the restaurant. It’s quiet and calm and you’ll still have an awesome view of your kids! Another perk is that the Birthday Zone features varied seating options for larger parties, with party sections designated by characters in Chuck E.’s band featuring a bold wall graphic silhouette and character biography. Also, the interior now has a stunning, all-new light up dance floor with an hourly live show and birthday show.
And of course, the games!
This is where we had the most fun! They have a new, programmable “tap-to-play” Play Pass game card system. So adults and kids will both get to enjoy nearly a dozen new games that will be installed in remodeled game rooms. Plus, Chuck E. Cheese is offering All You Can Play! Which means that parents get to be the heroes – by giving kids free reign to play all the games, as many times as they want! You can choose points or timeframes. This is a great value because when your time is up, you’re done. So easy. And this allows kids to play more games and win more tickets.
