I Would Walk 500 Miles

Hello, from Scotland.

If you’re reading this and tuning in, you’ll be happy to know that I did get on that plane and I did go to Scotland. I white-knuckled it a bit because I took on a LOT. I had to leave my family, which I did, with tears streaming down my eyes. Then there was the fact that it was SNOWING big fat snowflakes when I left Massachusetts. I made it all the way down, with minimal(ish) traffic and definitely got anxious while driving through NYC but then I decided to let myself off the hook because I was doing a LOT, as you just read previously. Waze got me lost, of course, but Google Maps put me right back on track to drop off my car. Then there was the fun of meeting my mom at the airport, going through security (was a breeze), and waiting, waiting for our flight.

I have loads to do, but I’ll catch up soon. For your pleasure, I’ve compiled a teaser set of photos from each day of the trip. If these leave you curious to know more, I’ll tell you all in due time!

I would walk 500 miles, and I would walk 500 more, just to be the man who walks 500 miles, to fall down at your door
