The funny thing is that I spent nearly three weeks away from late June into mid July – in places that are usually cool. And they WERE, compared to home, but we still came home right in the middle of that big heat wave. For me – as a mama, a work at home digital marketer, and a work at home photographer – I find it super hard to be productive when I’m hot. It’s like all I want to do is lie on the couch with cold towels on my head! I’m not good at it at all. So I get creative.
How to Keep Cool This Summer With Portable AC:
Now where do I begin? This unit is WAY beyond my wildest dreams about portable ac units! It works so well in our home, and also in our everyday life. Not to mention that you can stay cool on the go by controlling your device using your smartphone app. And you can use the voice-controlled Bluetooth device of your choice as well. We have the MIDEA AP08S1BWT Portable Air Conditioner Wi-Fi 8,000 BTU Alexa Enabled ((Cooling, Dehumidifier and Fan) – for rooms up to 100 square feet. And it comes with a remote control, which I love. Actually, there’s a lot to love!
Why You’ll love it:
It’s WiFi Enabled!
Well, that’s awfully cool! (see what I did there?) You can stay cool on the go and control your device using the Midea smartphone app, or the voice-controlled Bluetooth device of your choice! We are loving the Alexa compatibility.
Total Functional Innovation:
Well, who doesn’t love that? We love the easy-to-read digital LED control panel, and how it provides exact control over sleep settings, timer, fan, mode (cooling, dehumidification, fan only) temperature setting (62-90°F), and power functions. Also, an indicator light lets you know when it’s time to clean the filter. Love that because how else would I know??
EVERYTHING is Included:
Ok, I don’t know about you but this is big for me. This unit arrived with a full function LED remote control – with batteries included, mind you – as well as ALL necessary installation accessories. It came with an adjustable window bracket that fits openings from 26. 5-48″ while the clip-on drain hose measures 59.
Did I Mention Easy Installation:
That’s especially important to me because I want to be cool and I don’t want to get too hot installing the Midea portable ac! How do you install your portable ac? Simply install the included airtight bracket in your existing window frame. Then, connect the clip-on drainage hose. The unit works with both hung and sliding windows. Lastly, built-in wheels allow for easy mobility without heavy lifting.
I don’t love to admit this, but I’m really horrible at being hot. I’m also horrible at being cold. I can’t be productive when hot, though, and there aren’t as many easy fixes – like putting on a blanket or standing near a fireplace when you’re hot. When I need to share how to keep cool, I get excited to share about my Midea portable air conditioner. It has WiFi and is easy to use!
