The sole purpose of us renovating our house early this year was for more of that cozy yet luxurious feeling. I’m talking fireplace on the wall in the master bedroom, and bathtub overlooking the forest in the master bathroom. What could be better than that? It’s a bit of a project of mine to create a more luxurious experience in the bath and shower. At first we wanted a large mural of a beautiful place – like a forest – printed for the wall facing the bathtub, but over time we realized we could do a lot of little things that would add up to one big spa day feeling! Like I said, big smiles over here right now!

First, we renovated the formerly door-less shower by adding a frosted glass door. We also have added music, colorful mood lighting, books and magazines, and all of the projects that make a bath better. For me, that’s Neutrogena Rainbath.
How to Have a Relaxing Spa Day at Home in a Few Easy Steps:
1 – Turn your shower or bath into a pampering experience with Neutrogena Rainbath! It’s so versatile because you can use it in the shower as a body wash, added to a bath for a wonderful-smelling and bubbly experience, and also for shaving legs. Or if you’re me, I use it for all three things within one day! What I love about Neutrogena Rainbath the most, other than the amazing smells, is that it can be used in a variety of ways. You can apply it directly to your body or use it for shaving.

It reminds me of summer nights. All that warmth and the scent. It really does remind me of ocean mist – with the smells of sunscreen and sun-warmed skin. All of that without the sand! Basically I need that in this busy season and I think it’s a must-have essential for moms. After a busy day of school, play dates, birthday parties, and mini trips (we do a lot of those), we deserve to kick back, relax, and enjoy some well deserved “me time.” And especially after a busy summer of camp, more camp, vacations, more vacations, and long days! A busy season, followed by another busy season deserves this “ahhhh.”

Not only does using Neutrogena Rainbath in the bath or shower help me relax, but it also turns that bath or shower into a pampering experience. It cleanses and conditions skin without leaving behind a heavy, filmy residue. Now that’s an Ahhh!

And there are 5 refreshing scents! Refreshing Shower and Bath Gel – Original, Renewing Shower and Bath Gel- Pear & Green Tea, Rejuvenating Shower and Bath Gel Pomegranate, Replenishing Shower and Bath Gel Ocean Mist, and Restoring Shower and Bath Gel Fresh Plum. It’s hard to choose one favorite. I tend to gravitate towards the Ocean Mist for bath and Pomegranate for shower. You really can’t lose, though. My family members like to use them too!

Here are more ways to have a relaxing spa day at home:
1 – Get rid of disruptions. Let your family members know you have plans for quiet alone time. And don’t bring your phone with you.
2 – Set your mood with a diffuser or maybe candles.
3 – Focus on your skin with maybe a pre-bath or shower exfoliating scrub.
4 – You can Google DIY Hair Masks to apply to your hair while you relax in the tub, or before your shower.
5 – Gather all of your fun spa supplies beforehand. Get a plush robe, fuzzy slippers, LOTS of water (more on that next), healthy snacks, and soothing music. And of course, don’t forget your Neutrogena Rainbath favorites.

6 – Make your own detox water by adding your favorite fruits and/or vegetables to a pitcher of water with ice. So good!
I’m also a huge fan of a good book with me. And I like to give myself manicures and pedicures or even do a foot mask. All in all, setting yourself the time to do an at home spa day or night will feel so good. You deserve it!

Pretty lady. Love this post. I think my spa days all have to happen at home or they won’t happen at all!
I’m with you on the candles and setting the mood for a good bath experience. I see that you have the same tub pillow as I have! LOL
hah, it’s a good one! We’ve gone through three and this is the only one that’s stayed around.
