And if you’re into that sort of thing, they’re certainly vegetarian and vegan and probably gluten-free, and I don’t think there’s any sugar added either. I suppose that if you use the right ingredients, it can be non-GMO and Kosher too! I can’t claim to be a dietician. And you know, I don’t really like popsicles much either. I was always suspicious of cold treats that don’t have dairy. Although my favorite popsicle maker always tells me which of her daily selections does have dairy. So you CAN! These are a dairy-free treat, though, and I have to say that being pregnant during summer is driving me to LOVE homemade fruit popsicles. These are grand:
Homemade Fruit Popsicles with Coconut Water:
What You Need:
2 cups fresh coconut water
3 kiwis, sliced and peeled
8 strawberries, slices
You will need 2 x 4 popsicle molds.
Serving 8 popsicles
Store 1 week in refrigerator
Preparation time: 8 hours 10 minutes
Cooking time: 0 minutes
Total time: 8 hours 10 minutes
What You Do:
1 – Place kiwi and strawberries in mold by pressing them against the “wall” with your fingers.
2 – Then, add grapes in each mold and then pour coconut water to the top.
3 – Place popsicle sticks in the middle of each mold.
4 – Freeze for 8 hours.
5 – And then, enjoy!
And of course, you can use whatever fruits you desire. You can even make a rainbow! Personally, I love to see what kind of random “designs” I get from throwing in that fruit and coconut water. It’s like art to me. I think that no matter what you use, it’s sure to be delicious and beautiful.
