I still haven’t figured out what I want to use it for most. Of course, there are holiday celebrations at home, with just the family. Or maybe even someone else we have seen safely lately – like a grandparent or cousin. And then there’s the idea of making it for myself as my afternoon snack. JUST KIDDING! I’ve been so healthy for so long! I think that’s all the more reason to make this for the family in the coming days. People, I really need it. I need some Halloween cheer. I don’t know what Halloween will look like this year. I’m not sure our town has made any decisions yet, or maybe they have and I haven’t noticed. There might be alternative plans. We may make our own alternative plan, but with a two or three-week-old like we’ll have, I’m not sure we’ll be sharing in the cheer with others. So in that case, a Halloween Charcuterie Board will be crucial.
Halloween Trick or Treat Charcuterie Board:
What You Need:

6″ Cauldron
Mini Pumpkin
Halloween M&Ms *You will need 2 bags to fill that size cauldron
Pretzels
Pumpkin Marshmallow PEEPS
Pumpkin Seeds
Candy Corn
Pumpkin Candies
Mixed Nuts
Tuscan Trail Mix
Serving Tray – this one is a 13×17 entertainment platter with a lip on the side
What You Do:
1 – Lay everything out in front of you from largest to smallest.
2 – Then don’t forget your non-perishables, like your cauldron and mini pumpkin.
3 – Place large items on the platter first.
4 – Then, begin to place the additional items around it, and then, small, loose items can go into bowls.
5 – When you place an item, do a single layer of treats, and then fill in with second and third layers.
Notes:
*I highly recommend that you make this close to when you serve it. Once you put things out in the open, they can get stale quickly.
And that’s it! Obviously you don’t have to make everything the way I do it, but this is such a good mix of sweet and salty treats. My favorite thing is to not tell the kids I’m doing something like this and then they see the finished product and get super excited. There’s nothing like it!
So, have you ever made a Halloween Charcuterie Board?
