It’s beginning to look a LOT like Halloween around here!

And I love it! Halloween is our favorite family holiday. I feel like it’s the only holiday that’s just ours. For every other holiday, we spend them with extended family. And we love that. Halloween is our thing, though. It starts with the school party – always the Friday night before Halloween. Then we have a whole day planned of getting in costumes early, hitting the downtown trick-or-treating, walking in the town parade, and doing the house trick-or-treating. Such festive fun.

And before that, we do a lot of decorating and mini parties.

That’s why I was so excited to find Mini Babybel® at Target this year, and with special Halloween wrappers! I’ve loved them since I was a kid, and now my kids do too. What’s not to love? It’s a wholesome, nutrient-rich, all natural snacking option for the whole family, and friends. That’s why it’s always on my menu for parties. Since Halloween parties need some savory goodness, I’m making Mini BabyBel mummies all season long! They’re so easy to make and a hit with kids.

First, I go to Target.

Then I use string cheese for the “bandages” and olives for the “eyes.” With the string cheese, you have to peel it pretty thin to give it that awesome bandage look. It’s really fun to make, and of course I eat more than I make.

There’s so much to love about these Halloween Party Treats.

Mini Babybel® 100% real cheese is always a hit. There are six varieties, and that big taste always saves snack time, and Halloween snack time too. Like I said, I loved it as a kid. There’s a rich taste and creamy texture, and no artificial growth hormones*. No significant difference has been shown between milk derived from rBTS – Treated and non-rBST treated cows.

Also, the seasonal packaging makes it a bigger joy!
