Galaxy Cake Pops Recipe
It’s like a refrigerator. Sometimes our fridge goes quiet for a few hours, and we don’t even notice. You may not even notice if I go quiet(er) because I’m on a REAL vacation and I absolutely need my blog to keep chugging along. This recipe is an oldie but goodie. I just fact-checked on how long it’s been since I took the pictures and wrote out all the steps, and apparently I’ve been meaning to share this recipe for over five years. That’s.. impressive. Out of this world impressive.
Galaxy Cake Pops Recipe:
What You Need:
5 cups Crumbled White Cake (about 12 cupcakes)
1/3 cup White Frosting
12 oz. White Chocolate Melts
4 oz. Blue Chocolate Melts
4 oz. Purple Chocolate Melts
4 oz. Black Chocolate Melts
12 Lollipop Sticks
Silver Sugar Crystals Sprinkles
Tiny Gold Star Sprinkles
What You Do:
1 – Mix the frosting into the crumbled cake until well combined.
2 – Roll the cake mixture into about 2-inch balls and set on a parchment lined baking sheet. You should get about 12 balls.
3 – Melt the white chocolate according to package directions and dip the end of each lollipop stick into it.
4 – Push the chocolate end of each stick into a cake ball and set them in the freezer for about 20 minutes.
5 – Melt each of the other colors of chocolates in separate bowls per package directions.
6 – Drizzle some of each color chocolate over the top of the melted white chocolate.
7 – Dip a cake pop into the chocolate and coat it completely. Sprinkle it with the stars or silver sugar.
8 – You can set it down on the tray to dry, but if you don’t want a flat edge, push the stick into a foam block so it’ll dry upright.
9 – Repeat steps 5 & 6 with each cake pop.
10 – Let the cake pops set until the chocolate hardens, and then enjoy!
