Easter is not just about chocolate eggs and hot cross buns; it’s also a time to refresh our homes with some new and exciting decorations. With Easter 2024 just around the corner, let’s dive into the hottest trends in Easter decor that have got everyone buzzing. From classic favourites to innovative twists, there’s something for every Aussie home.

Pastel Party

Who doesn’t love a bit of pastel? This year, soft shades like pink, blue, yellow, and green are making a big splash. Whether you’re painting eggs or decking out your table with pastel linens, these colours are sure to give your Easter decor a dreamy vibe.

Back to Nature

Nature is all the rage this Easter. Think woven baskets, wooden trays, and clay pots as the base for your Easter displays. Pair them with fresh flowers, some greenery, and, of course, Easter eggs for a look that’s both rustic and charming.

Keep it Simple

Sometimes less is more. Minimalistic Easter decor is all about clean lines and a simple colour palette. Go for sleek egg designs, basic bunny motifs, and clean table settings to nail this modern look.

Old-School Cool

Vintage is in! Lace doilies, retro egg cups, and old-school ornaments are making a comeback. Mixing vintage pieces with new finds gives your Easter decor a quirky and timeless feel.

Make it Personal

Why not add a personal touch to your Easter decor? Customised egg decorations, monogrammed napkins, and personalised banners are all the rage. It’s all about making your Easter celebrations uniquely yours.

Garden Party Time

With the weather getting warmer, outdoor Easter celebrations are on the rise. Fairy lights, lanterns, and outdoor rugs create a cosy atmosphere. Add some potted plants, floral garlands, and maybe even a DIY flower wall for an Easter bash that’s both cosy and chic.

Green and Clean

Being eco-friendly is more than just a trend; it’s a way of life. Biodegradable egg decorations, recycled paper banners, and natural dye kits are just some ways to make your Easter celebrations green. Plus, it’s good for the planet!

Tech it Up

Believe it or not, tech and Easter decor are a match made in heaven. LED-lit egg displays, interactive digital Easter cards, and virtual Easter egg hunts are all the rage. It’s a fun and modern twist to traditional Easter celebrations.

Get Crafty

Handmade decor adds a personal touch to your Easter celebrations. DIY egg decorating kits, homemade Easter wreaths, and hand-painted signs are great ways to get creative. Plus, crafting with the family is always a blast!
