Dino Party Treats: Digging for Dinosaurs Cups:
These are the cutest! We first started sharing Dinosaur Party Treats back when Des was into dinosaurs night and day, but now Rider is! So much so! These are REALLY fun. First of all, we love Haribo dinosaurs (totally not sponsored) and will use any excuse to use them, and second of all, these are fun and delicious. You can consider them a craft, a recipe, and a good snack. You can make them yourself, or let go and have kids make them as a craft/recipe. Either way, a smash.
Dino Party Treats: Digging for Dinosaurs Cups:
What You Need:
1 pkg. Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
1 pkg. Chocolate Rocks Candy
2—3.9 oz. pkgs. Chocolate Pudding
1 pkg. Gummy Dinosaurs
6 Small Clear Plastic Cups (about 8 oz.)
Mini Clothespins
Glue Stick
Small Sheet Green Paper
Black Marker
Green Candy Shred (optional)
Spoons
What You Do:
1 – First, prepare pudding according to package directions and set in the fridge for 20-30 minutes or until firm.
2 – Cut small circles out of the paper and write “Diggin’ for Dinos” on each one, and then glue each circle onto the front of a clothespin.
3 – Take the cookies apart and scrape off most the white filling and discard. Crush the cookies up until it looks like dirt consistency.
4 – Then, set the cups out and start layering the ingredients.
5 – Add a layer of crushed cookies, and then a layer of pudding.
6 – Toss in some gummy dinosaurs and some chocolate rocks.
7 – Repeat the layers again until the cups are full – make sure you end with a little bit of cookie dirt, gummies, and chocolate rocks.
8 – Then, clip one of your little signs on each cup and sprinkle some green candy shred in a few places to look like little grass piles.
So, are these the best Dino Party Treats you’ve ever seen?
