Oh yes, it’s back to school time. And we must also talk about the fact that Crispy Chicken Wraps are SO GOOD! This Crispy Chicken Wrap recipe is perfect for this time of year. It makes a wonderful weeknight or weekend dinner – all warm and crispy and delicious. That said, I think I like it even better to pop into a lunchbox cold. Or you can make it fresh for a lunchbox. Either way, I can’t think of anything better than a meal that will get your kid to eat their whole lunch!
As you know, I sometimes struggle with back to school transitions. I find myself falling behind with paperwork and getting overwhelmed by details if I’m not careful. There are so many forms – like doctor forms, immunizations, school bus forms, school lunch forms, application forms, emergency forms, form forms, and more forms. It isn’t just the details, but it’s the emotions involved. I find myself teary-eyed and resistant to change when summer ends. Now that we’re going for another go, I’m more determined to make the transition even smoother for us all.
Now let’s talk about my Crispy Chicken Wrap Recipe!
As you know, the adjustment to a back to school schedule can be tough – even without worrying about getting dinner on the table every night. Simple meal prep is my best friend. I love to go to PriceRite and get Tyson® Chicken Strips for my recipe. You can go to your respective Wakerfern banner store for these. Along with Tyson® Any’tizers® Chicken Fries and Tyson® Chicken Nuggets, which also work well in my recipe! Find all in the frozen section of your store with all the frozen chicken products.
Let’s talk about how these products make family meal time easier, more wholesome, and of course, more interesting as we adjust to school and after school activities. As I mentioned, find them in the frozen section of your local Wakefern banner store near the chicken products. We always go for Tyson products, because they’re the most convenient and affordable products for your school year and routine mealtime needs. We love the crave-worthy flavor and that they make protein-packed snacks. I also love that the chicken is raised with no antibiotics ever. A total win!
Crispy Chicken Wrap Recipe For Back to School:

8 Tbsp ranch dressing (optional but delicious)
What You Do:
1 – First, cook Tyson Chicken Strips until fully cooked, and cool for at least 5 minutes.
2 – Drizzle ranch dressing over each tortilla (optional but delicious).
3 – Then place 1-2 Tyson Chicken Strips on each tortilla.
4 – Sprinkle each with shredded cheese, lettuce mix, bacon, and tomatoes.
5 – Then roll them up, burrito style, and secure with toothpicks if needed.
6 – Serve just like that (still warm) or refrigerate and put in lunch boxes the next day.
One last reminder:
In late summer, you start to think a lot about school. That’s also a great time to start easing into a fall routine, because jumping from summer to fall – without transition – can be rough and stressful. Practice the new school routine within the week before school starts. Set alarm clocks, go through morning rituals, make breakfast, have everyone get dressed, and then get in the car or stand at the bus stop on time. This will help children feel comfortable when it’s go-time.
