Such a wonderful combination of flavors, starting with amazing crescent rolls. Better yet, I was able to pick it all up at Stop & Shop!
Crescent Roll Recipes: Holiday Cheesy Chicken Spinach Wreath:
What You Need:
2 packages, Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
1 brick, 8 oz, cream cheese, softened
1 package, 10 oz, spinach, thawed and drained
2 cups chicken, chopped
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 cup real mayonnaise
2 teaspoons garlic herb seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup milk
1 red bell pepper, seeded and diced
1 green pepper, seeded and diced
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
What You Do:
1 – First, preheat oven to 375.
2 – Then, unroll crescent rolls dough into triangles.
3 – Lay dough onto a pizza stone or large baking sheet to create a sun-shape.
4 – Overlap the large ends of the dough, so you have a small, 5-6″ circle in the center of the stone, and then set aside.
5 – In a mixing bowl, add cream cheese, spinach, chicken and garlic, and mix well.
6 – Stir in mayonnaise, seasoning, salt and pepper and milk.
7 – And then add peppers and cheese and mix well.
8 – Use a large spoon or 3-tablespoon portion scoop to scoop mixture on top of the crescent rolls, closest to the inside circle.
9 – Bring the pointed end of the dough up and over the mixture, and tuck it under the dough in the center to create a ring or wreath-like shape.
10 – Finally, bake 20-25 minutes or until dough is golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
So, I think you know how much I love going to Stop & Shop. I have been going to the one in our little city since we moved here. Probably before that! I know right where to go in the refrigerated dough aisle to find my Pillsbury Crescent Rolls. With Pillsbury, you can take joy in the taste of tradition—and I think we can all agree on that. There’s something incredibly special about getting together over great food and making recipes for your family that they’ll remember. I still make recipes my mom made, that maybe her mom did too! And so on.
One thing I love is that cooking and baking are ways to show love and care. I personally love quick and easy options, so I love that Pillsbury Crescent Rolls bake so deliciously and so quickly! This is actually an easy recipe to make, but it looks totally professional! It’s one of my favorite recipes, and I continue to update the crescent wreath fillings every year. What will be next?
