I’m pretty smitten with the wonders of everything these days. I have a long history of cranberry delight, though. I remember when The Body Shop had some sort of Frosted Cranberry scent and I took right to it. To be honest, they might still have it! I haven’t worn many perfume-like things since I had kids. Scarlet’s fourth grade teacher had a severe fragrance allergy so the whole school is fragrance free. I guess I haven’t gotten back in the body lotion habit, but if I did..
Cranberry Smoothie Bowl:
What You Need:
1 cup frozen cranberries
1 6 oz container vanilla yogurt
2 Tablespoons honey
1-2 fresh or frozen bananas
¼ cup water, if needed
Extra cranberries-plain or rolled in sugar
Yield: 2 smoothie bowls
Total Time: 5 minutes
What You Do:
1 – First, place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, adding water last and as needed.
2 – Then, garnish with desired toppings and serve.
I highly prefer frozen bananas with this recipe and personally like to use two bananas. The frozen bananas keep the bowl colder longer and also seem to hold the toppings up a bit better. Add water last, as needed. Depending on what kind of yogurt you use, you might not even need water. And add more or less honey to adjust sweetness.
And now, now, I can start my talking. I know that when people go to recipes on blogs, they don’t necessarily want the back story or really anything but the recipe. Me? I’m different. I adore a good back story. In this case, my affinity for wearing Frosted Cranberry scents is really not much of a story. You got spared! Although when I check out a recipe on a blog, I don’t mind stories at all but pop-up ads really, really get me. That’s why you’ll rarely see them here. The ads I have on this blog have been there for nearly my entire blog career and I rather love them. I can turn them on and off and they make me more money to buy Frosted Cranberry scents. On that note, I’m headed to The Body Shop. Does this still exist?? It was called something else, though.
