I don’t know about you, but I love delicious pancakes. I’m really strange to my family because I love pancakes but I don’t love waffles. And I don’t have a major sweet tooth in the mornings. I barely have any sweet tooth in the mornings – it kicks in sometime in the late afternoons when I need a sugar boost. So when I do eat pancakes, they have to be GREAT. And when I do want great pancakes, sometimes I have to experiment to get it right. I love Chocolate Pancakes, but I didn’t have a good recipe for them until now. These are the Chocolate Pancakes you have been waiting for. I promise you! Make them, eat them, and WEEP. And weep of happiness, of course.
What You Need:
1 ½ cup flour
4 Tbsp cocoa powder
3 Tsp baking powder
¼ cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 Tsp vanilla extract
Butter or oil for cooking
What You Do:
1 – First, in a bowl combine the flour with the cocoa powder, baking powder and sugar.
2 – Add the eggs, milk and vanilla and whisk until everything is well incorporated and there are no lumps left.
3 – Heat a griddle over medium heat, and then grease with butter or oil.
4 – Pour around ¼ cup batter onto the hot griddle and cook each pancake for around 2 minutes, or until small bubbles appear on top.
5 – Lastly, flip and cook for 1 more minute or until done.
And that’s that! Easy peasy. Honestly, these are incredibly delicious. Just incredibly delicious. If you’re looking for an easy chocolate breakfast recipe, these pancakes are for you! And you can top them with chocolate candy if you want to be super indulgent. And I know that I do!
