Breakfast Charcuterie Ideas: Simple and Delicious

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Veroni; all opinions are my own.

#ad Who doesn't love charcuterie? In this post, we'll show you how easy it is to make a special and delicious breakfast charcuterie board.

Who doesn’t love charcuterie!? We have a charcuterie board for every holiday, every season, and every meal. In our house we might joke that it’s “Charcuterie o’clock” and that always means to pile a platter with the goodies in the house. We have Charcuterie Dinners at least once a week, so make sure to check my Instagram feed in the next week or so because I’m going to share a video of how dinnertime charcuterie comes together for our big family! For now, though, we’re all about breakfast. We have a secret weapon with Veroni. Veroni has been sharing the best Italian cold cuts since 1925! They have salami, charcuterie, eco-friendly trays (we use for picnics), party trays (we use for big parties), deli meats, snacks (we use for school lunches), and more.

Some Charcuterie Wisdom:

And how, my delectable friends, do we embark on this culinary adventure? Sit tight, because here comes the first rule of breakfast charcuterie club: always start with a board. A good, wooden board that makes your ingredients pop. Not literally, of course.

The robust cheeses: Provolone, provolone, provolone! And sharp cheddar, creamy brie, tangy blue. The cheese is like the cornerstone of your board. We love that Veroni Party Trays and Snacks have Smoked Provolone and Provolone, and in different sizes for different hands!

The delectable meats: Veroni has it all. Salami in every way, Prosciutto, and more! These form the building blocks of your charcuterie masterpiece. Add some hard-boiled eggs for a great protein boost.

The vibrant fruits: Berries and more berries, oh my. Juicy grapes, crispy apples, plump berries. They provide the necessary color and a refreshing tang.

The ever-versatile pastries: Flaky croissants, pancakes like we used, danishes, fresh baguette. Because what’s breakfast without a little bit of bread?

Snacks: Olives and breadsticks and nuts and dried fruits are GREAT on these boards too.

Right then. Spoon and fork at the ready? Napkins in your laps? Let’s get this show on the road, because my stomach is growling louder than a grizzly bear, and I promise you it ain’t for a bowl of oatmeal! We’re here for the gourmet experience, breakfast charcuterie style. Shall we?

Pro Tip: Make sure to choose fruits that are in season. They taste better, look prettier, and I hate to sound like your mom, but they’re higher in nutrients too. Besides, it’s fun to switch things up throughout the year, right?

So, what would you put on your breakfast charcuterie board?
