And I’m trying to get back into the feel of things. I’m never good at the balance between being too busy, and being not busy at all. I don’t know how to ease into either scenario at all, and besides, I actually AM really busy today. I have four drafts due. What the what? There aren’t really fast and slow seasons, I’ve decided, but weird ebbs and flows and deserts and tidal waves all year long. I’m going to ease my way into the sponsored work, by focusing on some of the unsponsored work fun – like my Birthday OREO Fudge Recipe. Today is simply the day for it.
Birthday Cake OREO Fudge Recipe:
What You Need:
8-10 OREO cookies
3 cups white chocolate chips
14 oz. condensed milk
¼ cup colorful sprinkles
Yields: Approx 9 fudge squares (about 2×2 in size)
What You Do:
1 – First, line a baking dish (8×8) with parchment paper, and then set aside.
2 – Then, crush OREO cookies into large chunks, and set aside.
3 – Melt white chocolate chips in a medium sized saucepan over medium low heat.
4 – Remove from heat and add condensed milk, and quickly stir and combine.
5 – And then pour the fudge into lined baking dish.
6 – Press crushed OREO cookies on top followed by the colorful sprinkles.
7 – Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Cut into squares – serve and enjoy!

And that’s it! Birthday Cake Fudge magic. Generally fudge is a bit much for me, and that’s why I make it exactly my way so it’s not cloyingly sweet. The crunch is awesome, and sprinkles make everything better, so why not try this awesomeness? And today, or any day, is the day for it.
