I participated in a Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for OshKosh B’Gosh. I received an irresistible promotional item to thank me for my participation. It made me happy and I’m excited and proud to write about it.

We dropped her off an hour ago. I was a lot calmer than I expected to be, and a lot calmer than I was for the first day of kindergarten. This doesn’t mean I’m out of the woods, and I’m worried my jitters will come out full-force again like they did last year, but I’m more confident I can handle this. We walked into a crowded schoolyard and saw so many loved ones at once. I got a slight panicked feeling of so much love and emotion, first thing in the morning (not my strongpoint), but then it dissipated as I watched Scarlet flourish and join her friends. It will be ok. In fact, it will be better than ok. We’ve got this.
One of my best memories of back-to-school, and what might be the BEST memory of childhood back-to-school, is of shopping for new school clothes with my mom. When OshKosh B’Gosh gave me the opportunity to take Scarlet on a shopping spree for back to school clothes, we both jumped at the chance. Shopping together, buying clothes together – what’s not to love?
Since I was a baby and now, OshKosh B’gosh has always proven to be one of fall’s most essential purchases, and especially this year for us! OshKosh B’gosh has plenty of different items of clothing that are designed for today’s active and expressive kids. OshKosh B’gosh has moto jackets and jeggings for Scarlet, as well as glow-in-the-dark graphic tees for Des!
These clothes have thoughtful designs, superior materials and construction, as well as trendy fashions! OshKosh B’gosh was inspired by wanting kids to have everything they need for school – from blue jeans to books – so they launched the “B’gosh Jeanius Campaign.” In partnership with K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, Inc. and DonorsChoose.org, OshKosh B’gosh will give customers the opportunity to donate a new pair of jeans or make a cash donation to students in need for this school year.
All denim that is donated between July 28th & September 16th, 2015 will be delivered to local children in need through K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, and cash donations will be delivered to DonorsChoose.org. The Carters Charitable Foundation will match all cash donations up to $50,000 and will match all denim donations with a new item of clothing. More info HERE.

It’s time to start your back to school checklist at OshKosh B’gosh now! B’gosh blue jeans are back this fall, and OshKosh B’gosh is sporting the must-haves of the season with bold prints, a touch of glow, B’gosh Blue Jeans, World’s Best Overalls, and the new Black, White & Indigo Collection. Here is a coupon to get you started, now that back to school is here.

Aw, we just went back to school today, too and still can’t believe summer vacation is over. Oh and I was actually more of a weepy mess this tear than last as this being Lily’s turn at kindergarten (my last baby), I was definitely feeling it. Definitely just hope it is a good day for our girls today now.
Aw! I wonder how I’ll be with Des. I imagine weepy but hopefully in that normal way, and not the traumatized way of last year! I have high hopes.
Cute little Lily!!
It just so hit me that this was my baby standing there looking adorable, but also a bit unsure of how to react. But I do have high hopes and fingers crossed now 😉
Aw! I know it. Well Des still has two years and my whole family is trying to convince me of baby #3 (no lie) and the pressure is so hard.
If it weren’t for first trimesters, I honestly would pull the trigger.
Tamara, I know you know how I feel for myself on this and I could be the Devil’s Advocate on this, as I hated the first trimester as I was sick pretty much for the whole time and actually into about 21 weeks each time with my girls. Don’t miss that one bit to be quite honest!!!
21 weeks?? That is so cruel. With Scarlet it was nothing and with Des, it was seven weeks of seasickness that MIGHT have only been nerves.. jury’s out.
And still I fear. I fear!
Oh man it was awful and I never threw up, but I was nauseated all day from the moment I put my feet on the ground out of bed until I laid back down. A few days or weeks would have been bad enough, but it was seriously about 14 weeks or so of this before it got better. So, the fear is strong here, as well!
Yes! Although I’d usually get a reprieve from about 7:00pm on. I have no idea why. I used to even be able to watch Food Network during that time, although not if they had gross food on there.
I actually used to watch HGTV at that time myself! 🙂
ha! We don’t get HGTV but I got addicted at one point. I would still be that way if we had it.
I love OshKosh. I shop there all the time for my kids!
It’s so timeless! I still have overalls from when I was a baby. My mom kept them. Durable stuff.
Oh that Scarlet looks too cute and Des is going to look pretty sharp too! First grade, here you go! I think it’s going to be a great one! I had no idea about the “B’gosh Jeanius Campaign. I love that kids/families can directly give at the register. What a great company!
Right?? It’s 90 degrees here today which is why they’re not wearing their new gems..yet.
It’s really awesome that they’re giving back!
Hope she had a wonderful first day. First grade!
My daughter started school about a month ago – a fourth grader. . how time passes by in a blink!
Wow fourth grade!
Scarlet said she didn’t have a good day, but she had a GREAT day. I guess it’s a win! And I got ahead of myself by already filling out her paperwork. Last year I was on another planet. I made up for it by donating goods/money to the school in the spring but I was the most un-involved parent ever.
Aw, good job keeping it together momma! It’s funny because I only knew it was back to school time because I got caught recently behind a school bus and at each stop there were a ton of weepy parents, with cameras, waving…a lot! I was about 20 minutes late for work! I can’t get mad though, that will be me in two years!
Oh, that’s funny! I probably would have been annoyed but maybe also charmed.
It’s a weird transition for all.
My favorite back to school memory too!
I’ve been wondering why you don’t take me school shopping anymore!! (just kidding)
Love osh kosh b’gosh. I dressed both my daughter and son in the overalls 🙂 I think I kept a pair of the little ones in the baby box as the cutest memory. Glad first day of school for Scarlett went well! Also, do they make that hoodie you bought for Des in men’s sizes? my boyfriend would live in that LOL.
I love a good hoodie!!
My mom still has our OshKosh overalls too. That’s durability for you.
wahhh!! I’m not ready for my kids to go back to school next week! I’m totally cool with shopping for clothes and I know my girls would totally love the sparkly pink shoes ( I would need two pairs for both girls) but I am just not ready to go back!! Oh wait…I don’t start back till October. Never mind :0)
Yup, Scarlet was obsessed with those shoes! She can barely tie them but she loves them so much. We usually go back after Labor Day so it’s weird this year. Kindergarten and daycare both start next Tuesday!
I miss shopping at Oshkosh – I was a frequent shopper at their local outlet store when my kids were younger. I like that their boy clothes and girl clothes are equally cute, although I did try to hand down Gwen’s jeans to James. He always seemed to catch on.
There’s an OshKosh outlet in Lee, MA – where I went. It’s so nice there. It’s hard to resist.
Oh my goodness, those shoes and that star shirt! Shelby needs them! Plus, I love a good cause!
Get them with the coupon! Shelby totally needs them.
I love the name 🙂 Also, as a pilot, EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh is this country’s greatest air show, the mecca for pilots!
It’s a fabulous name, isn’t it? I’ll have to check out what that air show is about!
LOVE those sparkly pink shoes! And of course the dress… 😉
Those shoes made her so happy! We had to special order them because of her size and she waited by the mailbox every day. They’re awesome.
I just love the sparkly pink shoes! My daughter started Kindergarten today too and it was really hard to watch her get on the bus and come home a little bit older, wiser, and really exhausted! lol
Aww, that’s a big deal! I hope the first week of kindergarten went well. First grade is some serious stuff, according to my daughter.
These clothes are adorable! I love the sparkly tennis shoes.
The shoes are by far her favorite! She’s even learning to tie her own shoes with them! When there’s glitter, there’s a will and a way.
Osh Kosh makes so many cute outfits! Perfect for back to school!
Exactly! It’s such a treat to go a few times a year – definitely for back to school, and for the holidays and then for spring/summer. So much fun!
Love all the glitter, especially on those shoes. One lucky little girl. Wish it was that easy for my 14 year old daughter.
She was waiting for the shoes for ages! She saw them online too. So of course we had to get them.
It gets harder every year so I can imagine 14 won’t be this easy for us!
Your selections are awesome! I’m so happy you got this shopping spree. I mean it’s so timely for back to school. Congrats on Scarlet’s first day! I’m sure you’re one proud momma!
Totally timely! I’m at this weird point where I can still buy my kids clothes, but on the other hand, Scarlet prefers to have a say in it. It’s weird! She’s growing up.
The Outfits are so Cute . Oshkosh is a long standing Brand with great items
Yeah, they’re super amazing. Their clothes are cute and they last for decades.
I love that brand, it’s one of our favorites! <3 – http://www.domesticgeekgirl.com

It’s true – they’re consistently awesome there every season!
So cute! I used to wear OshKosh when I was little 🙂
And I’m certain you were super adorable in the clothes!
I miss shopping at Oshkosh and younger kids clothes! I was a regular shopper at their local store at the mall when my son was younger. I like that their boy clothes and girl clothes are sooo cute!
Aw, I’m a regular now and I just know I’ll miss it one day. And having a son and a daughter means I can check out both cute sections.
Oh my gosh, I love the clothing pictured! I haven’t done any back to school shopping at Osh osh yet but I see that I should make my way there! Thanks for the coupon!
Of course! I hope it helps people. Coupons are needed for my family.
We love our new clothing! Now if only it would cool down a bit so they could wear them.
I love their clothes – so stinkin cute!! I haven’t really done any back to school clothes shopping yet. they are all still wearing their summer clothes because it is suddenly hotter than hades up here. so it will be Fall/Winter stuff that I will have to get. They all need new snowsuits and boots!! have mercy.
Oh yeah – it was 77 today and felt “cool.” It will be back up to 90 next week, but luckily AFTER the wedding. Whew.
I just got hand-me-down snow pants today and it felt like winning the lottery.
Osh Kosh clothes are absolutely adorable, and they are really durable too. This is such a cute set of outfits!
So durable! My parents kept my old overalls and they are still intact even after I put my kids in them!
I hope Scarlet (and you) had a great first day. I love Osh Kosh clothes – my boys wore them all the time when they were little! And I love the sparkly shoes.
I totally love the shoes.
I miss wearing OshKosh. I’m glad to pass it down to my kids, though!
Those clothes are cool! And Scarlet’s shoes…OMG… I want a pair too! Ask her if I can borrow them!!!
She said YES! Isn’t she a gem?
I totally want them in my size too.
Osh Kosh has been a trusted and dependable name in children’s clothing as long as I can remember.
Me too! I don’t know a life without them. I am off to research how long they’ve been around now!
I love the Osh Kosh, i love shopping there with a back to school outfits for my son. and it will perfect for him
I hope you get him some great outfits! I love OshKosh so much.
I really do like Osh Kosh. That’s been a favorite brand of ours for as long as I can remember.
Me too! My parents kept my baby overalls by OshKosh and I put them on my kids. And they’re still intact!
She looks so much older, Tamara.. that’s crazy! I loved getting my “first day of school” outfit all throughout the school years. I only found out recently that the guys don’t really think or care about this – clearly I’m from a girl household!
Oh that’s so funny! I remember what I wore the first day of second grade! Honestly. It was so cute.
Super cute outfits! She looked adorable on her first day back to school. And I love those sparkly sneakers.
The sparkly sneakers are so cool, I confess I wanted a pair of my own!
Oh my how cute are these clothes. You little one is working that super cute dress.
Thank you! She is too funny wearing it two first days of school in a row. Maybe third time’s the charm too.
We went back to school shopping there too. My kids love picking out clothes from OshKosh. I love those shoes!
Right? I want those shoes so badly!
I’m sure your kids got awesome clothes.
I love her back to school shoes. She is styling!! Osh Kosh has such fun, age-appropriate clothing. I love shopping them!
They are the best! I shop there every year and it all lasts forever.
I love those shoes! All of their clothes are adorable. When my children were young I would shop there. Great company!
The shoes make her so happy! I totally wish I could still wear all their clothes.
Cute outfit…I love the shoes. She looks so cute in the outfit. OshKosh has excellent clothing that will last.
It totally does! My parents still have my overalls from when I was a baby.
OshKosh has the cutest clothes. My daughter would totally be all over those pink sparkly shoes!
Right? Those shoes are amazing. My daughter can barely tie her shoes but she insists on wearing them. I think they’re helping her learn.
I like the OshKosh brand a lot. They have really great denim.
I just can’t believe how long it lasts. My mom still has my baby overalls!
Those shoes! I actually want those in MY size.
I love OshKosh. Their clothes last a while and the store in our shopping center is always so bright and friendly.
Me too!! My sister wears 5 1/2 and can wear kid shoes. I generally can’t at size 6.5.
OshKosh clothes do last forever because my mom still has mine!
Oh how Osh Kosh brings back memories! Our girls have had a few items from them over the years and their stuff really does hold up! This is a fantastic campaign they’re running, too. Now to find our local store…
Yeah, the campaign is so awesome! They’re such a great company and so giving.
