We’ve gotten autumn breezes in our nights and even days. School is probably all in session at this point, isn’t it? We even went apple picking the other day. APPLE PICKING! I usually wait until October to get those Honeycrisp Apples, and then when it’s almost November, you get Goldrush Apples, and they’re tied with raspberries for my favorite fruit. But yeah, apple picking!

Apple Pie Crescent Ring Recipe:
What You Need:
2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
5 apples, peeled, sliced, and cut into 1 to 2 inch pieces
1 tablespoon lemon juice
¼ cup water
⅔ cup brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg, optional
¼ teaspoon salt
What You Do:
1 – First, preheat oven to 375 degrees
2 – Then, place a large skillet over medium heat and add apples, lemon juice, and water
3 – Cook for 7 to 8 minutes or until the apples begin to soften
4 – In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, cornstarch, and seasonings, and whisk together well
5 – And then add the sugar mixture to the skillet and toss the apples to coat
6 – Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until the sugar syrup thickens, stirring often, and then remove from heat to cool slightly
7 – Meanwhile, line a baking sheet or baking stone with parchment paper
8 – With the crescent rolls, create a ring with the largest end of the crescent rolls overlapping, and the points outward like a sun
9 – Then, press down the crescents where they overlap and spoon the apples onto the crescent dough in a circle
10 – Wrap the points of the crescent rolls over the apples and tuck underneath in the middle of the ring
11 – And then you bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the crescent dough is golden
12 – Lastly, serve warm with your choice of powdered sugar, ice cream, cinnamon sugar, or caramel sauce.
Have you ever had Apple Pie Crescent Ring?

Summer vacation is indeed officially over here with the girls back to school for day 1 here. But totally still need to go apple picking and when we do, I am so making your Apple Crescent Roll now with some of the apples we pick. So, thanks for sharing 🙂
Oh my goodness this look so good! My husband would be delighted if I made this. Poor guy wanders around hunting dessert when there is nothing in the house. I think I’m ready for “apple season.” I love the smell of apples and cinnamon cooking. This would be good for a brunch!
Yes, I love these apple pie rings and am so excited that apple season is here. How fun to go apple picking – we have not done that in years! Pinning this!
I just picked up a huge box of honeycrisp apples. Definitely making this for my husband this weekend!
Summer can go JUMP IN A LAKE – I am so over it. In fact, I was never under it. I hate summer so much! I live for FALL and the HOLIDAYS – ha! So this time of year is my FAVORITE because the summer is WINDING DOWN. Granted Los Angeles doesn’t get the memo until MID-OCTOBER which drives me batty… IE: it’s going to be 100 degrees today here, WOOOO! lol!
We have gotten no Autumn breezes here yet, but I can have this pie!! Oh my gosh. Yum. Totally pinning. Apple pie is a gift to humanity 🙂
Hi Tamara, i can’t believe almost I missed this recipe. Now this is what I would describe as a proper autumnal recipe and will be pinning it for future reference, even if I do have to make the crescent dough bits myself!
xx
I totally need to make and then devour this!
Yum! So good and I love apple picking! I haven’t done it in a while, but have great memories of visiting our nearby apple farm!
This looks so delicious and perfect for the weekend. Pinned and plan to make it asap.
