It’s apple everything season! Fall is so glorious. Our local orchard recently started selling their apple cider, and it’s like a big crisis if we run out in our home. Luckily we stocked up yesterday, with cider, 22 glorious bucks of apples, and apple cider caramels! We would have gotten fudge, but we already had fudge at home, so I think there is a rule about not having too much fudge at home. Is there? Well, maybe not. Although there is NOT a rule about having too much cider at home. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t last long in our house. My friend even told me she dilutes a little cider to give to her baby. Rider should be so lucky! Maybe he will one day drink it right out of an apple cup. Ahh.. Now, that’s the stuff. And I’m going to share this easy recipe right now!
Apple Cider Apple Cups:
What You Need:
3-4 cups cider
6 cinnamon sticks
What You Do:
1 – Hollow out each apple, making sure to leave about a half inch thick wall on the sides. I left the bottom of the apples a little thicker than that.
2 – Pour cider into each apple until full and put a cinnamon stick in each one.
3 – Then, put a little whipped cream on top and drizzle with caramel sauce.
4 – And then serve it right away.
5 – It’s a fun way for kids to enjoy apples!
Now, how amazing does that look? If you’re really feeling the apple love, I also have this awesome Apple Cinnamon Cupcakes recipe that is also quite delightful. I definitely suggest trying this one!
