I didn’t fully love and appreciate it until adulthood, but there’s something magical about it for sure. It’s waking up that morning and smelling that Cassidy is already prepping or cooking. And the smell of Thanksgiving morning breakfast usually involves bacon and coffee. And I love the Thanksgiving Day Parade, and watching Santa close the parade, and thus, open up the holiday season. Except that first we have a whole day to enjoy food and loved ones. And while this year will certainly look different for many of us, the spirit and the love will be there. I’m excited to share some recipes, products, and tips for creating amazing Thanksgiving sides for 2020.
How to Have Amazing Thanksgiving Sides This Year:
Parkerhouse Style Rolls Dough from Bridgford®:
These are amazing! These rolls come in a bag of 24, 1-ounce yeast roll dough pieces. You can bake them all at once to serve, or bake as many as desired, as long as you use them all within 30 days of opening the bag. They’re non-GMO, contain no preservatives, and are made with pure cane sugar. For Thanksgiving, you can bake them as is, following the instructions, make turkey sliders, or do what we like to do – brush them with melted butter and 4C Homestyle Parmesan Cheese. Absolutely delicious! You can find Bridgford Foods products in the freezer aisle, and there’s also a downloadable coupon offer here. Find out more about the rolls here.
Homestyle Parmesan Cheese and Seasoned Breadcrumbs from 4C:
Oh, how I love 4C! The Homestyle Parmesan cheese, which I put on those amazing rolls, are 100% cheese, with no additives, preservatives, cellulose, or fillers. Only shredded cheese that is nutty, wonderful, and delicious! As for 4C Seasoned Breadcrumbs, we have 4C Panko Plain Bread Crumbs and 4C Gluten Free Panko Plain Crumbs. They are freshly and you can even add them to the rolls, because this perfect blend adds crunch and texture to your favorite foods. We use 4C foods in our homemade mac and cheese, and we do serve it on Thanksgiving every year. YUM! Find out more about 4C here.

For an awesome dish, cut fresh Brussels sprouts in half lengthwise, and season with garlic, salt, pepper, and whatever spices you love. Then coat with 2Tbsp of olive oil, and shake it all up in a container. Then spread them on a pan, and bake for 20-25 minutes on 425, until they’re tender. Mix them up with pan-fried Smoked Lardons. Delicious!
