Writing an essay in college can seem like a daunting prospect, especially if you’re not sure what to do or don’t have the time to do it; Whenever I find myself in this category, I just get someone to write my essay for me. But writing an essay doesn’t have to be hard! Follow these 7 easy steps and you’ll be surprised at how quickly and easily you can complete this college homework task.

1) Define your purpose

Define your purpose. What are you trying to convey? Are you explaining something? Explaining a process? Describing a point of view? Comparing and contrasting two things? Pointing out a problem and proposing a solution, or offering analysis and evaluation? Provide your goal statement at the beginning of the paper. Now that you have your purpose statement, it is time to formulate your thesis statement. Your thesis statement should be one sentence which briefly explains what you plan on proving in this essay.

2) Do your research

Research can be obtained through a variety of sources including books, the internet, and talking to people and even when you buy essay online. I personally prefer getting information from books as they are generally easier to understand. There is always a wealth of information on the internet but you should be careful because many websites are trying to sell you something or mislead you. Talking with people will provide you with some of the best stories and insights into what is going on in the world.

3) Create an outline

Outlining is a great way to organize and get your thoughts in order. It can be as simple as coming up with a catchy title and jotting down a few bullet points, or it could include all the important details. 4) Write your paper

Write about the topics you want your paper to cover. Your topic can be anything you want, but be sure to narrow it down enough so that it’s clear what you’re writing about. You’ll also need a thesis statement at the end of your introduction, which will act as a hook for your readers so they know what your essay is about and how it relates back to the topic. Start with a sentence or two explaining your chosen topic before telling them why it matters to you. It may sound obvious, but make sure there are no typos or grammatical errors before submitting your work!

5) Edit your paper

Editing your paper is one of the most important steps when writing. It allows you to fix grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors, as well as make sure that your thoughts flow logically. There are many different ways to edit your paper:  a) Read your essay out loud; b) Edit for content; c) Edit for organization and transitions; d) Check your quotes, citations, and references; e) Spell Check it if you can’t find any mistakes; f) Ask someone else to read it.

6) Proofread your paper

Proofread your paper for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. Pay close attention to your verbs as well. Be sure that you are using the correct tense throughout your essay. If it is in the past tense, make sure that all of the verbs are written with a -ed ending instead of just adding ing. 7) Submit your paper

Submit your paper by following the instructions listed on the website. Ask a friend or family member if they can help you review your work for errors before you submit it. This will save time and energy when looking over mistakes. Do not panic: No matter how hard you try, there will be something wrong with your essay at some point during the editing process.  You should fix any problem as soon as possible so that it does not get out of hand.
