Air Fryer Ghost Homemade Pop Tarts

You know how much I love Homemade Pop Tarts. And Halloween. And my air fryer.

So last week I brought you a Halloween Homemade Pop Tarts recipe, and I just figured, why not do it again? This one is different because of the air fryer (and ADORABLE ghost) factor. I mean, as you know, my love of homemade Pop Tarts is pretty obscene. It’s such a specific thing that I look for it everywhere I go. How often am I actually rewarded? Well, not often. That’s why I take matters in my own hands and make them. I’ve done it before, I’ll do it again, and goshdarn, how adorable are they? They’re tasty, delicious, & super easy to make. An excuse to use the air fryer!

Air Fryer Ghost Homemade Pop Tarts:

What You Need:

Pre-made pie crust
Jelly or jam (we used my mom’s original recipe!)
Vanilla icing
Chocolate chips
Cooking spray
Ghost cookie cutter

What You Do:

1 – First, preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees, after you drag it up from the basement!

2 – Roll out your pre-made pie crust and cut out cute ghosts with the cute cookie cutter.

3 – Then, place 1 tsp of jelly or jam on every other ghost cutout.

4 – Place a ghost on top of each jelly ghost and press the edges together with a fork.

5 – Then, lightly spray each ghost with cooking spray.

6 – Place the ghosts in your air fryer for 5-8 minutes; they fry really quickly so be sure to keep an eye on them.

7 – Remove from air fryer and then use your icing – be generous with that icing!

8 – Use your chocolate chips to create two eyes and a mouth.

9 – And then your adorable ghost pop tarts are ready for feasting!
