Adele Dazeem, Or In Other Words, Happy Blogiversary!

Adele Dazeem. That’s my new term for what happens when you say something, but you meant to say something else.

I did Travoltify my name, but only because Cassidy had and I wanted to see how similar ours would be. He got Catherine Brazent. I got Mustafa Brazent. If you’d like to do the same, go HERE. I want you to know that it made me laugh until I cried, from the sheer absurdity of it. And I probably wanted to cry anyway, because it was -1 degrees and so many people are sick and/or hurting, and I was nervous because I had to work today. (Wednesday, as I write this) All of that made me forget something.

Yesterday, March 4th, was my four year blogging anniversary! Blogiversary? Blog Birthday? And I forgot to bake a cake. I meant to write something else. I meant to post about kindergarten, in fact! So that can wait until next week because today, we celebrate.

(This was my view on the day I started blogging!)

I started my blog on March 4th, but first posted on March 5th, 2010 with a post titled, “Hello” and this photo:

I’m going to spew it all out in paragraph. Just pretend I’m using that fast voice from the old “Micro Machines” commercials: Started my blog after a dry spell with writing. Oh yeah, I take photos and I have a baby and my blog is called “Tamara Like Camera” as a play on how people have butchered my name throughout my life so I thought I’d make it easy for readers. But oh yeah! Photos too! Oh wait. How will people know to read this? I can publish posts on Facebook! I think I will for awhile. Ok, this is nice. Do I want more? Is there more? Ambling along. Oh no! Scarlet is bit by a dog the day before her first birthday! How will I cope? I’ll write about it. And more about parenting. Writing, photography, parenting. I think I get it now – what I’m about. Wait, what? Someone wants to syndicate me on BlogHer? Well, ok! This is still pretty fun, but I’m anxious a lot. I think I’ll write about it. Life is having its ups and downs. I can write about them. I can give tributes here. I can give birthday wishes here. I can announce my second pregnancy here. I can write a love story here, and people will read it. Mostly my Facebook friends. Three years in, I discover the magic. Blogging communities. SITS girls. Guest posts and guest posting. Linkups and swaps. Ask Away Friday. Real Life Friendships. Some only through the computer. So far. Still others, in person. Many more to come, I know.

I really, really like it here. I think I’ll stay!

I didn’t bake enough cake to share. I didn’t set up some sort of giveaway or contest. I didn’t arrange to have pizza delivered to all of you. I didn’t even write this post until last night. So I’m just going to do it, painstakingly, and give some shout-outs to say hello, thank you, peace, and that my life is more complete with you in it. And I’m not speaking aloud, so I hopefully won’t Travoltify your blog names. So Happy Blog Birthday to me. Happy Un-Birthday to you. Namaste and Adele Dazeem to you.

And you, and you, and you.

      1. Thank you , such an honour for me πŸ™‚ You are wonderful and you can transmit a lot of good energy, dear Tamara πŸ™‚ I am happy I discovered you/ your amazing blog and work! I will be your fan forever! <3

  4. Happy Blogiversary!!! I’m so glad that we’ve met and have started to connect. πŸ™‚ I hope that my blog reaches 4 years and turns out as wonderful as yours has!! Wish I could send you a Dr. Who cake in celebration, but I’m not that creative and I’m afraid it would end up smashed to bits on the ride out there. So just imagine I sent one and it’s amazing and we’ll just go with that, haha! Thank you for the shout-out and happy blogiversary!!

    1. ha! I wonder how a Doctor Who cake would ship. Probably have to put it in a car. Did you ever watch “Ace of Cakes”? Watching them transport their beautiful cakes made me nervous.
Anyway, happy to have you in my blogging life! Thanks so much for everything.

  5. Happy Blogiversary!!! And than you for including me in that amazing list that must have taken you forever to put together!! And that picture of Scarlet in the sunglasses- I love her!!

    1. You’re welcome! And it was easier than it looks. I just imported the blogs I follow on Bloglovin, hence the alphabetical order! However there are some blogs that I just can’t find on Bloglovin for the life of me, so I did manually put those in. And yes in alphabetical order!

  6. Happy Blogiversary to you and seriously am so damn happy you decided to blog 4 years ago, because of it we have gotten to know each and become friends. Have I told you lately how much I do love you. Seriously, I do and thank you for being a great friend to me. And by the way, if you lived closer, I would so bake you that cake and have the grandest party for you, too!! πŸ™‚

      1. haha! That sounds more normal than Mustafa! And for my husband to be Catherine! Oh, the comedy. To be fair though, Cassidy is often a girl’s name.
Have I told you lately that I love you too?
Why can’t we live closer? Now I really want cake!

  7. Happy anniversary! Thanks for the quick history. It was great to see some pics of your kids as babies and hear a little more about your blog before you “found the magic.” I’m sure glad I found YOU! I’m not even sure how… something to do with MOAM, I think. (Can I admit that I still haven’t read that book? I have way too many meltdowns of my own to want to share in anyone else’s. Yikes.) BTW, My Travolta name is Seonaidh Keezy… of course it is!

    1. I think you’re right! I found you and Shana around the same time and I know she found me through MOAM, at least I think she did.
And it’s ok that you didn’t read it! Sometimes it’s nice to get away from meltdowns.
Seonaidh Keezy, eh? It has a certain something..

  8. Happy blogiversary! All I can think is it must have taken you forever to compile that list, and I’m honored that you included my little ol’ blog. πŸ™‚ Here’s to many more years of blogging for both of us!

    1. There is nothing little about your blog! You’re an author and a VOTY too!
And it actually didn’t take much time. I just imported the blogs I follow on Bloglovin. I only had to manually had a few, but that is why they’re in alphabetical order, sorta. That’s Bloglovin’s method!

  9. I suck at celebrating my Blogiversary (or whatever it is). In fact, I think mine is right around now too! I’ll have to check. Thank you for the shout out! You’re welcome. I’m so happy we connected. I look forward to you taking photos of me and my kiddos some day. πŸ™‚

    1. Definitely check! Yes, is it blog birthday? Blogiversary? Blogoversary? Who knows? It’s something, though.
And I’m really happy we “know” each other.
And I’d love to do those photos!!

    1. Same! I can’t believe we didn’t find each other sooner. I do remember when it happened and I thought, “Wait..that awesome girl commented on my blog twice now. I need to subscribe to her NOW.”

    1. Me too, Kate! You add brightness and humor to these days. And no matter what your sister says, I think you’re very interesting!

  10. Happy Blogiversary – I have been cracking up on that John Travolta thing too! OMG! I just did my name and got Stephen Cloirk – lol

Thanks for adding me to your list – glad we are blogging buddies πŸ™‚

    1. Stephen Cloirk! Haha! I don’t think there’s any reality at all to the computer program who is doing this, but it is SO funny.
Very glad to have you on my thank you list!

  11. Happy Blogiversary to you! It has been a great 4 years for you and I know that you’ll be here in another 40. Well I’m hoping that you are. I’m so happy that I got to “meet” you and I can’t wait to actually meet you. You’re such an amazing friend and I’m so grateful that we connected. Lots of love your way!

    1. You’re an amazing friend too, and I have a lot to thank you for always. Glad we found each other! Hope you’re feeling so well! And we will definitely meet.

    1. Only your first? Wow. You learned now to be bloggy awesome WAY before I did. Let’s definitely get together and eat cake. I really want to make my own meetup..with pretty much everyone on this thank you list.
And I can’t really imagine blogging without you!

  12. Happy blogoversary! There is almost too much goodness in this post to handle.
Thank you for including me on the list – a list that’s a treasure in itself, I can’t even imagine how long it took to put all these in alphabetical order and link them!
To be honest though – the picture with you and Ilene in it takes the cake, I want to be in that picture πŸ™‚
Here’s to the next four years – I might just have a vodka valium latte to celebrate that (and no, I did not come up with that, I have a sign in my kitchen that says: “I’ll have a cafe mocha vodka valium latte to go, please”)

    1. And just think – if not for Ilene, you wouldn’t have been on this list because I wouldn’t have yet been so blessed! I’m sure our paths would have crossed eventually, though. Too much good for that not to happen.
You’re not the only person who said you wanted to be in our photo and all I can say is, “Bring it on!” We can all meet one day!
I really wish I had a Cafe Mocha Vodka Valium Latte after my dental appointment today!

  13. Yayyy Tamara!! Happy Blogiversary!!! I just love the title of your post. Is it sad that that Oscar flub still cracks me up a few times a day? I think I may have even followed Adele Dazeem on Twitter : ) Anyway, thank you so much for adding me to your list! It has been so great getting to know you better through your blog! You are truly a sweet person and definitely the real deal!! Keep blogging because as you can tell, you have a ton of fans!!

    1. Not sad at all, Karen! It makes me giggle every day. Do you think John Travolta’s “people” are giving him heck about it, or do you think they’ve all been asked not to mention it.
I may have followed that twitter account too!
Of course you’re on my list because we’re blogging friends! So thank you!!

  14. I just saw the Adele Dazeem incident today and cracked up like crazy! Happy Blog Birthday Tamara and wishing you years and years more of blogging! πŸ™‚

Any tips on how to get syndicated on BlogHer? LOL

  15. Happy Blogiversary to you!! This post is fantastic! Thanks for including me on the list. I consider you one of my best bloggy buddies!!! I know we will meet one day ! πŸ™‚ Congratulations on the success of your blog and I hope you keep blogging for many more years to come!!

    1. Of course you’re on my blogging heart list! We’ve always connected and you gave me that great challenges idea that I will use for months, I’m sure.
Would love to meet one day!

  16. You and I are kindred in so many ways – my 2 year anniversary of blogging was Friday the 28th of February. No, don’t go look for the post because there wasn’t one. I am hoping actually to publish one soon – and send out some good vibes to my blogging community like you did above. Maybe before next Feb 28th? I haven’t traveled in these parts a lot lately and not nearly as much as I used to. But I am so glad the blog world is here for me when I decide to crash in – between teaching yoga classes and kids and building inspections (ugh! Today!) and everything else that life throws our way. And I am so glad that I found you here. And that I will continue to be able to find you here. Now that’s worth celebrating.

    1. Here, here. I’m having a drink to that right now!
Always thinking of ya. Would love another photo of us, with some of these gems as well.
      I know it will happen.

  17. I read this at the bus stop this morning, and now am coming back to comment. I need to get better about commenting from my phone…who knows how many blogs I could comment on then?!! Happy Blogiversary my friend, I am SO glad I met you! PS I love the shades pic!

    1. Thanks about the shades pic!
Let’s say next time we are in a photo together, many more of our awesome friends are in it too! I love the response to our photos..still.

  18. WOOHOO I”m on here!! I feel special!!! OH and my Travoltified name is: Imogen (Ivanna) – Loved that moment!! He’s so awesome, lmao. Poor guy losing his son everyone cut him some slack. AND A WONDERFUL HAPPY HAPPY BLOG BIRTHDAY TO YOU!! I hope I make it 4 years out πŸ™‚ And hope for many many more wonderful bloggy birthdays! How are you going to celebrate? Have a great one Tamara <3! -Iva

    1. I know..I can’t stop laughing even though it was a mistake anyone could have made. I was so confused at the time, though. I said, “Wait..is someone else singing it and not Idina?” Why is it so funny??
Thank you for the birthday wishes!
I celebrated by going to the dentist! Yay! Although my husband got me Justin’s Organic Peanut Butter Cups.

  19. Happy Blogoversary! Spelling??? You have quite the list of wonderful blogs! I think I have visited most of them at least once. Isn’t it great to have such a wonderful online community from blogging? I appreciate all the connections that I have made over the years too. You have a marvelous blog and I always enjoy visiting, reading your posts, looking at your fabulous photos and the great conversations we have back and forth in our comments on your blog and on mine. Congratulations on your great success and I am grateful that we connected through our blogs!

    1. Kudos to you for visiting these blogs! That’s so awesome. Thank you for your blogiversary (no clue if that’s how you spell it?) wishes. I’m so glad we have found each other here!

  20. Happy Blogversary Tamara! I am usually say the wrong word than say what I actually meant. Does that make sense or am I doing that now? LOL Tamara I love reading your blog, hearing about your sweet family and seeing your amazing photos. Cheers and thank you for including me on your list – I feel special!

  21. You are the sweetest- I felt recognized by a celebrity to see my blog on your list! lol! Happy Bloggiversary to you πŸ™‚ I am so happy I came across your blog. I love it. So thank you for being you!

  22. HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY!!!! Times flies when you’re having fun, doesn’t it?! So glad we connected and I wish you many more Blogiversaries to come. Don’t worry about the cake, I’ll be sure to bake one for my Blogiversary in May and send a virtual slice your way! πŸ™‚

  23. I just followed the link that Kirstin Auer posted on G+ and love the way you talk fast! Happy Bloggiversary! I’m looking forward to coming back and visiting some more πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you! I was channeling those old commercials with the mustache man talking so fast!
      Sometimes I slow it down.
      Thanks for visiting!!

  24. First of all, Happy Blogiversary!! Reading your dates, I though I started mine around that same time, so I checked and turns out I have missed my blogiversary, too. My first post published on Feb. 26, 2010. It was so small for so long I don’t really even think about it. I love the connections I’ve made and can’t wait to meet more of you in person in the future. that is quite a Thank You list that I am happy and honored to be part of!

    1. WOW! We were only a week apart or so. Our blogs, anyway. That is so awesome.
I’m sure I’ll meet you in person soon enough, and I would love some banana pudding.
And really, having you on this list – the pleasure is all mine. It’s really just a giant thank you note.

  25. Thank YOU Tamara! Happiest of bloggy birthdays to you. Because of you and your blog, I’m a better, happier person. xoxoxo

  26. You are so sweet with your thank you note!!
Happy birthday to your blog – 4 years is amazing!!!
That picture of Scarlet with the sunglasses is adorable!
And I think I prefer my Travoltified name – Kai Tufkler.

    1. hahaha! Kai Tufkler. Well. I’m Mustafa. Who writes these things??
Thanks for being you – that’s why you’re on my thank you note roundup!

  27. Oh man….I made the list and now I have tears in my eyes because I am fairly certain you are the only one who can do that to me. Happy Blogiversary, blog birthday or whatevs! I look forward to reading your blog all the time. You are such a gift!

    1. Yay for happy tears! Of course you made the list! It’s a gratitude list and I’m grateful that we found each other in this blogoverse. Blogiverse? Something like that.
You are a true gift too.

    1. haha, and I really didn’t! Bloglovin did it. I just took all of the urls from there. Although I’m trying to figure out why “Enjoy The View” was first. That should be with the other “E”s! Anyway, it only took me about 20 minutes to do that list.

  28. This is sweet and all, but did I read something about delivering pizzas to all of us? Because that would be great right about now.

Happy blogaversary. I’m a dude. So I’d forget it. Plus I’m kind of Jahovah’s Witness with my blogaversary and just don’t celebrate it.

    1. Yeah, I think I was Jehovah’s Witness last year. And they had come to my door that day so maybe what they said really sunk in..
Blogaversary. I think I like that spelling better than blogiversay and blogoversary.

  29. Happy Bloggy Versary! I’m so glad you blog and that I’ve found you. 4 years? That’s worthy of celebration. I love the word play on your name, Tamara like Camera is pure destiny. XOXOX!

    1. Isn’t it? My parents were so clever when they named me!
So happy to have found you as well and I’m glad you saw your name on my thank you list! I truly mean it.

    1. You made me smile by noticing my “Happy Adele Dazeem!” It’s a new holiday! I declare!
Really, really happy to have “met” you.

  30. Happy blogiversary, my friend! I’m so glad I found you early in my blogging story – or we found one another. And so happy to be among your many bloggy friends – next year I want to be in that in-person photo!

    1. I don’t even know if I can tell you how badly I want the same without sounding creepy!
I’m so happy we found each other. I can’t imagine how it didn’t happen sooner.

  31. Happy blog birthday!! Wow, four years, that’s amazing! Looking forward to reading many more of your wonderful posts πŸ™‚

  32. Happy Blogiversary to you! And that picture of Scarlet with the sunglasses is the BEST! Thanks for the shoutout…you deserve all the support you get!

    1. Thanks! I had forgotten about that photo and I’m so glad I thought to look at photos from the week I started my blog.
You rock – you deserved that shoutout very much!

  33. I had totally forgot about the “Micro Machines” commercials with the guy talking really fast. Happy 4 Year Blog Anniversary!!! Thanks for the shout out.

  34. Happy Blog Anniversary to YOU Tamara! You have done very well for yourself. and HOLY GUACAMOLE if I had to hyperlink that many blogs………….I’d be really cranky after. It shows how much you care–and we appreciate it!

    1. ha! It really didn’t take too long. Bloglovin did most of the work. And thank you for being on my list because that means I want to thank you!

  35. Happy blogiversary! It’s so amazing to see how things change over the years when you blog. Life, love, the people you meet and know online. It’s all amazing. And what a great list of blogging friends. πŸ™‚

Thanks for the blogiversary wishes! It is really fun to celebrate these days and look back on what has changed, and also what hasn’t!

  36. Hey! I’m on there! πŸ™‚ Happy Blogiversary to you! 4 years is so amazing. That face when you started blogging is so fun. I’m so glad you decided to and then that you connected with people. It has been amazing that our paths have crossed! Here’s to many more years of blogging and a continued friendship!

    1. Brittnei, I couldn’t imagine you not being on there!
And thank you. Four years. Whew. I’m so glad I finally got myself out there, and away from just being…totally alone in this.
It’s been wonderful. Cheers to four more years, and more!

  37. Could you believe that moment!!?? I was like…..did he just? and my mom was watching too and just slowly nodded.
But 4 years is awesome — and I feel bad because I just discovered you recently! Just think of all that awesome I missed out on πŸ˜‰
Happy Blog Birthday. Don’t feel bad about being almost late to your own party – I started in 2009 …sometime….and have never done a blog birthday thing at all.

    1. Your mom! The slow nod! That’s hilarious! Hope she’s feeling better?
And I hope you saw yourself on my thank you list. I just discovered you recently too and there’s a lot of great in there!

      1. I came back to see — and there I am!! Little ole me in some great company. that’s the best seat in the house right there. πŸ™‚ Thank you so much.

  38. AW!!! You are such a love, T!!! Thank you for your sweet highlight of so so many lovely blogs!! And Blogiversary or any major Holiday sometimes- gets no huge parade because we are too busy living… it happens to me ALL. THE. TIME.

4 YEARS IS AMAZING!!! What an incredible accomplishment my sweet dear friend! And I thank Ilene for hooking us up- anyone she adores, I know I will- and oh do I!!!

    1. I had to show all of the love! Right back to you all.
      I adore you too!
Next year is five years. I think that might have to be huge. Perhaps I need to throw a giant blogiversary party in my backyard!

  39. At first I didn’t see myself and almost cried with crying but then, boom, there I was and thank you and happy happy happy blog birthday. You are fabulous and amazing and wonderful and I just absolutely adore love you and that is my fast voice forgetting to mention your photos which are stunning amazing and I’m so proud you’re my sister wife.

    1. If you weren’t there, that would be a very grievous error and I’d have to re-write the whole thing with a long apology!
In other words, of course you’re there!
You’re like..the best ever. And we might meet in three months. And if not, well, I’ll throw a backyard BBQ this summer and everyone has to come.

  40. I can’t believe you mentioned me, you sweet thing. We’re such new friends. But I’ll take it! And joyfully! πŸ™‚

Happy four years. This summer will be my four years with this blog (I blogged for a year before that in a more-text-than-photos blog.

I’m glad you’re around to spread your loveliness, Tamara like camera. πŸ˜‰

    1. Of course! You’re awesome!
There was no real method to my madness – I just thanked people I have in Bloglovin – which means people who inspire me and I’ve felt a connection with. So of course you’re there!
Although I have to confess – I have a few celebrity bloggers on my Bloglovin and I didn’t thank them!

  41. HAHA on that name! But I finally know the meaning of your blog title and how to pronounce your name!!! Thanks :). Happy 4 years to you! Certainly have come a long way & accomplished many things like syndication and the SITS girls. Congrats!! Thanks for mentioning me in your “thanks”. It’s been great getting to know you!

    1. Oh yes! It’s nice to rhyme it with “camera.” It’s like my parents knew what they were doing when they named me. “She’ll be a photographer!” They did not name me Mustafa though, John Travolta!
Been nice getting to know you!

  42. Happy Blogiversary Tamara! I’m sorry I’m late to the party! Thanks for shouting out my blog! Aren’t blog groups amazing! Enjoy the rest of your blog’s birthday week! I love Scarlet’s baby picture! Your view upon writing your first blog post was adorable!

  43. I got “Elise Allorn”. IDK, I kinda like it. But it’s not my name so… πŸ˜‰ Congrats on four years, that is wonderful! I am so happy to know you through this big internet! You are a great friend and an inspiration. Never Change, LYLAS, all that good stuff that I would put in your senior yearbook. LOL! Thank you for including me in your super awesome list. XOXO

    1. haha! LYLAS! Oh man. Such memories. Thank you for that. It was like a breath of fresh air to remember yearbooks. Four years, though! That’s like..a high school graduation worth of time!

    1. ha! I know. Do you think his family and friends are giving him lip about it, or do you think he banned them all from that?
He did respond that he had made a mistake and that he loves Idina!

  44. Happy Blogiversary! πŸ™‚ And thank you for the sweet mention! Lisa and I have been laughing ALL day at your name on “Travoltify It”! BWAH HA HA HA! That is just awesome!-Ashley

  45. Happy Blogiversary to you Tamera! And your Travolitified name was my absolute favorite… I was literally rolling. I love you, your blog, your whimsical cadence, your precious photos, and your open heart. Cheers!

    1. I really won with the Travola name, didn’t I? Catherine Brazent and I will be very happy together.
Thank you for your awesome words!! Ditto to you!!

  46. How did you freakin do that? I hope there was some copy and paste function from Bloglovin. Either way you are super sweet for giving us all shouts outs. My travoltified name was boring. Kiesha Johnzon. And poor John Travolta, I can’t remember how old his little girl would be by now, but I won’t if she said, “Daaaaaaad!” Love that pic of Scarlet.

    1. Oh no worries at all – it took me about 20 minutes! You all deserve it, ya know! Although you had a recent blog name change and it hasn’t caught up with my brain yet, but I got ya in there!
I bet Mr. Travolta is getting a lot of flack from his loved ones! He probably had to tell them not to talk about it anymore..

  47. Happy Blogiversary to you! I love your blog. Every time I visit I get caught up with your awesome photos. In fact, I already read this and forgot to leave a comment!!! Louise Loing is my Travolta name. Poor guy. It’s hell getting old…probably worse when you’re a star. AND I think it’s so cool you got to hang with those blogging ladies.

    1. haha! You’re hilarious. I do that too – forget. By the way, I’ll be answering Michelle’s questions for me tomorrow – or late tonight. I take the Friday part of “Ask Away Friday” totally seriously because I’m a nerd.

      1. Cracking up about the nerd thing. I was wondering why Ask Away Friday was on Michelle’s blog already. Guess that makes me a nerd too. πŸ˜‰

  48. Happy Blog Birthday, Tamara! I can’t believe you’ve been going for four years…that’s amazing! I always love reading your posts, so I hope there will be many, many more years of blogging wonderfulness to come!! xx

  50. Four years, what an accomplishment! Congratulations on your anniversary, Tamara! I loved this post, and thank you so much for the shout-out πŸ™‚
P.S. My Travoltified name is Charley Mceezald, haha. I love how Ellen pointedly said Idina’s name correctly twice right after her performance!

    1. haha! Charley Mceezald. I don’t know what this generator does to work, but it’s hilarious.
I didn’t notice that about Ellen! Poor Idina!

    1. Thanks for visiting! The fast voice recap was really fun to write. I figured I could throw all of my normal writing rules out the window for a paragraph or two.

  51. Happy Blogiversary, lovely lady! Four years is amazing! You are such an amazing person and I am thrilled to call you friend! Thank you so much for the shout out! Congratulations on all that you have accomplished!

  52. Happy Blogiversary Mustafa!!!! Ha! That cracked me up! I feel privileged to be included in your list. I”m glad you graced the world with “Hello” and are sticking around!

    1. Thank you! And I’m laughing. I’m SUCH a Mustafa. Ah, this whole post came to me in the span of five minutes and I just knew I had to do it. All of it.

  53. Love the idea of a giant thank you note! Congrats on four years. So glad we’ve connected this year. (I’ve got three years under my belt– trying to catch up!)

  54. Tamara, you are beautiful inside and out. I’m so glad you’re in my circle of friends. People like you are what makes this community warm and loving and generous and open.

    1. Thank you! That means a lot coming from you.
I’m really glad about our circle as well. I can tell how seriously you take this and how giving and warm you are to everyone.

  55. I’m so late to the celebration! Happy Happy Blogoversary!! 4 years – that’s quite a bit of time. And that first photo of Scarlet – I can’t. There’s too much cuteness. I am so glad that we have connected because, as Shana said, you are beautiful inside and out and you bring so much to this blogging world – your words, your photos, your incredible support – such a gift!

    1. You weren’t late! I’m seriously celebrating all month long. I can’t resist. Four years! And four is my lucky number.
The first photo of Scarlet gets me too.
I am also so glad we connected. I still have the pizza dream alive and well. It is very possible.

  56. You are too cool for school! I love this post and the speeded-up voice to deliver the back story in one paragraph. Too funny! Happy fourth, my dear, and here’s to more blogging success and beautiful prose and pictures. Hugs, Ali

    1. Thank you, Ali!
Can you just picture me talking as fast as that commercial guy? I really should have done a vlog, but I haven’t gotten the nerve yet.

  57. How on earth did I miss this post until now?? I read your blog religiously but somehow managed to miss the one day you give me a shout out AND talk about your blogaversary?? Happy Birthday Tamara Camera Blog!

    1. Aw, thank you!!! I didn’t really market it much. It was so last minute and I was so busy working last week.
Thank you so much, my friend!

  58. Ah, the world is so vain! I was just a searching for the R’s in your list, lol! Ha Ha! I am so proud of you. Happy 4th blog anniversary! I love your blog and appreciate you sharing your many talents with us!

  59. Happy blogiversary, blog birthday, happy time! I have so enjoyed your blog and I’m honored to be mentioned among your blogger friends. On a side note, I loved that Travola moment so much I watched it about eight times, I’m so thankful that I recorded the show instead of just watching it live. And I love your first post, it’s so cool to read your voice from 2010! Here’s to many more years to come.
Sincerely, Alana Granite (Your Travoltafied name is so much better than mine, I’m still laughing about yours)

    1. Of course you’re on here, Alana! (sorry, couldn’t resist) SO much prettier than Mustafa.
I have to confess – it made me giggle so much that I watched it 20 times. And I’d laugh until I cried for at least 19 of those times! Ah, poor John.

  60. Happy four years! That is a BIG deal. I go in and out of staying on a normal blogging schedule, and I’m only 6 months in! That’s a presidential term! (Sorry, my husband and I just discovered West Wing 15 years late and can’t stop watching it.)

I am sincerely honored that you listed me in your thank you. I’m blushing all the way over here in Seattle. πŸ™‚

  61. My name is Keir Morzgan and I am an alcoholic.
Happy blog birthday my sweets. I can’t believe that you have only been blogging for such a short time. Wait…I think I started mine the same year as you…that means I’m young! Holy shit! I am young!!!

  62. Happy Blogiversary, you sweet thing! I’m late (I’m always late) to the party but I had to say Thanks for the shout-out! I’m so glad to know you here. Here’s to many, many more years of photos and fun for you, your blog, and your darling family! (toasting you with my coffee cup)

  63. OMG, you are cracking me up with the ‘Adele Dazeem’ and using that to indicate saying something that you don’t mean. i’d seen the travoltify thingy but hadn’t done it until you mentioned it. this whole post (plus the shout out!) totally made my day.
