It used to come later, after Labor Day, but it’s been creeping up into August for the last couple of years due to snowstorms the previous school years. I always get excited and nervous at this time of year. It’s all of the changes – you can feel them in the first cool breeze and when the insects chirp more at night. If summer nights are the most magical events on the planet, then fall nights are a close second. I love these crisp changes and I love helping my kids get ready for a fresh start at school and all that comes with the back to school season like sports, activities, lessons, clubs, recitals, etc.

1 – I wish: my kids will find an activity or sport or experience that they truly love, and that brings out the best in them.
2 – I wish: that they will find focus and organization within their own rhythms and timelines.
3 – I wish: they will do age-appropriate chores and help me with the endless insanity of school mornings, which includes backpacks packed, breakfast eaten, teeth brushed, hair combed, lunches packed, getting to school on time.
4 – I wish: for them to create and maintain healthy habits and routines with regards to sleep, nutrition, homework, practice, etc.
5 – Finally, I wish for them to have relief from fall allergies, because you might know that when allergies come into play, they can take the enjoyment and focus out of everything I just mentioned! That doesn’t make for a good back to school!

My kids are 6 and 9 and like both the Children’s Allegra Liquid and the Children’s Allegra Tablets. Children’s Allegra is long-lasting, non-drowsy, effective, indoor/outdoor allergy relief. It relieves sneezing, runny noses, itchy and watery eyes, and an itchy nose or throat. It helps us feel confident that Scarlet and Des’ allergies will be in control this school year, so they can stop suffering and start thriving!
The Children’s Allegra Liquid is berry flavored. It’s alcohol and dye free and is approved for use in kids aged 2 years and older. The Children’s Allegra Tablets have an Orange Cream flavor. They dissolve without water and are approved for use in kids aged 6 years and older.

Great wish list for back to school and your kids. I did one, too in years past and always revisit it this time of the year, as well now <3
Ditto on your wishes! We love Allegra and it really helps all of us handle those annoying allergies.
I love this list of wishes… I think I had them all, including the allergy one because we are a family with allergies. They didn’t have Children’s Allegra when my kids were growing up. Children fighting allergies are always a bit run down, a condition that is rarely acknowledged and leads them to pick up colds and illnesses more quickly. My heart goes out to the parents out there who are dreading their children starting to get sick again. Summer was always our best season!
I hear you! No allergies, finding focus, friends and acceptance are kind of BIG wishes for me. Good luck on your back to school trek 🙂
