I am proud to be partnering with Member’s Mark Brand 2-ply Facial Tissue – an item we keep stocked in every room of our busy household. I grew up in a large family, so I’m inspired by this product. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
It is filled with the things they most want and need, and the items that make the school year a little (or a lot) better and easier for everyone involved. The list may have paper towels and facial tissues. Arts and crafts items. Snacks for kids who forget them at home. Throughout the whole year, tissues are always on the list. When you have kids, you need tissues. When you have a lot of kids, you need a lot of tissues! This always helps me when I’m writing up our shopping lists for Sam’s Club.
I have been going to Sam’s Club quite a bit lately, as you may have noticed. It’s just fun for me! It’s right near my in-laws’ house and I love to take Des and make a fun morning out of it, finding household things we both want and need.
When you’re on the go like I am, working day and night, and keeping the busy family schedule – especially with Cassidy snorkeling in Belize right now – there are essentials we always keep on hand. That’s why the Sam’s Club Scan and Go app makes it easy to get our family essentials and then get on with our busy schedules. Here’s the original “Club Members”:
Buying supplies for a family of seven was no joke back then, and it isn’t for a growing family of four either! That’s why I made a list of five items to always buy in bulk for your family, and also why you should. These are time/money savers!
1 – Cereal. When I got older, I discovered that NOT everyone poured two or three cereal varieties into their bowls at once. I did that, and my four siblings did that too. We used to have to have 10-20 boxes of cereal at once! Sam’s Club carries double-sized boxes of brand-name cereals and since cereal tends to be pricey, it’s best to buy in bulk sizes for family.
2 – Vitamins. In our family, we use four different types of vitamins, and that’s just the multi-vitamins. Cassidy has vitamins for brain health, eye health, bone health, etc. I have vitamins for my hair, skin and nails. When you’re buying a lot of vitamins for 2-4 family members, it’s a good value to buy them in bulk. They have long expiration dates.
3 – Meat. You can find great pricing on meat for daily life, but one big advantage I’ve found is for parties. We throw birthday parties multiple times of year, and also have barbecues. You want to be really stocked for those!
4 – Diapers. Why? You go through a LOT of them. And often, even more than you’d expect or were told to expect.
5 – Tissues. Why? You will need them through every walk of life, and all year long. We buy the best tissues – Member’s Mark Brand 2-ply Facial Tissue. They are sold exclusively at Sam’s Club and SamsClub.com. The 2-ply softness and quality is for everyday care. The 2-ply gentle strength helps with multi-purpose tissue needs. We get 12 boxes of 160Ct 2ply facial tissues, which means 1,920 tissues total! And they’re $11.98, so each box is less than $1 per box! It’s a no-brainer for my family.
Member’s Mark Brand 2-ply Facial Tissue is the best tissue for us. You can look for them in the Household Paper Aisle and get 12 boxes to stock up the home. My kids love the box designs because they complement our home decor nicely!
The thing is, life happens pretty fast around here. If there’s a way to save time and money, and to make our busy days a bit lighter and easier, we’re going to grab them. Some items are best bought in bulk for our family, and this is one of them!
