Are you a latte lover like me? Learn how you can make a perfect latte right at home, without buying an espresso machine! 3 easy steps! #LatteMadeEasy #ad

Long ago and far away, like when I was starting this blog and all of the accompanying social media platforms, I was asked to fill out bios. Bios upon bios upon bios. What could I say about myself? I’m a professional photographer and a journalism school graduate. That seemed prudent to say. I completed two cross country moves in the span of two years (not recommended), and oh yeah – I’m a proud mama of two! I’m a pet parent too. What, though, of the really juicy things? What is that makes me – ME? Well, that’s where it gets interesting. Moose and whales and northern lights. Cookies, rainbow sprinkles and LATTES.

Yup. In every bio I’ve ever had to fill out, I’ve felt it necessary to mention my love for lattes. It’s a deep-rooted love. It’s meaningful. It’s both comforting and exciting. It’s often my favorite part of the day, especially during these cold winter mornings and afternoons – when even the shorter sun-lit days still seem long. Why not have a latte? Why not sip into a creamy, warm, frothy concoction. And the best news is that you can now make delicious lattes right in your home!

That’s why you need to experience an International Delight® One Touch Latte™ – the first ever frothing coffee creamer. Available in Vanilla, Caramel, and Mocha, at your local Walmart soon – so you can start your mornings (or afternoons) with a creamy and flavorful latte. You can be your own barista – transforming your home-brewed coffee into a coffeehouse-style latte. International Delight® One Touch Latte™ turns coffee into a latte in three easy steps. Ready?

1 – Fill your coffee cup 2/3 full to leave room for creamy froth.

2 – Shake the One Touch Latte™ can.

3 – Press and hold the can above coffee for 5-7 seconds.

Then, ENJOY!

This first FROTHING COFFEE CREAMER (holy cow!) available at your local Walmart. You’ll be able to make a latte in only seconds, and you can get seven uses out of one can. I love being my own barista!

It’s pretty much a party-in-a-can. One Touch Latte™ sweetens, creams, flavors, and even FROTHS! Seriously. I just shake it, press it, and within 5-7 seconds, I have a delicious, foam-topped latte waiting for me. With COOKIES. (sometimes)

Having a party? Each can makes seven lattes. You can do wonders with three cans! Or more.

Maybe you’re having friends over for brunch? Impress them with lattes.

Maybe it’s just a coffee date for two? Lattes.

Lattes make me happy. You probably already know this if you know me in person, or on any social media platform. I’m a frothy, creamy, dreamy, sweet coffee lover. I always have been and I always will be. Doing this at home is such a TREAT!

Now, which kind of One Touch Latte™ do you most want to try? I had trouble deciding, but Caramel was the first one!

Cookies & Cream Brownies, Oh My!

Brownies. For some, it’s as lifelong love. For others, like me, it’s taken time and some pretty good brownies to awaken my deep love for them. I even have a Pinterest board named, “Brownies and More Brownies” which is a nod to my “Cookies and More Cookies” board. They are perhaps my most used Pinterest boards. Why do I love brownies so much? It was the right one at the right time, of course. I like fudgy brownies. I like sprinkled brownies. Mainly, I like brownies that have multi-layer surprises waiting for you inside their fudgy goodness. Gooey caramel? Yes. Peanut butter cups? Obviously. Cookie dough? Yes.

How about COOKIES? Entire ones!

Some of my favorite brownies recipes call for sweetened condensed milk. While that’s fine for many, I realized that you could substitute International Delight® Creamers in many baking recipes, and not only add creaminess, but also add new dimensions of flavor. I couldn’t wait to make my favorite frosting recipe (good old butter and powdered sugar) with International Delight® Cold Stone Creamery™ Sweet Cream. How many ways are these brownies cookies and cream?

Let me count the ways.

There are cookies. There is cream(er). There are creamy cookies. There is cookie-ish creamer.

Cookies and Cream Brownies Recipe Time:

Cookies & Cream Brownies

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Total Time: 60 minutes

Yield: 12 brownies

Cookies & Cream Brownies

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • Sandwich cookies (about 9-12)
  • For the frosting:
  • International Delight® Cold Stone Creamery™ Sweet Cream
  • 1 Tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

  1. Make brownie batter according to instructions, or from scratch
  2. Spread half the batter on the bottom of the pan
  3. Add a layer of cookies
  4. Spread the other half of the batter on top of the cookies
  5. Bake according to scratch recipe or box (about 40 minutes here)
  6. Let cool
  7. For the frosting, mix the butter, powdered sugar, and International Delight® Cold Stone Creamery™ Sweet Cream until well mixed and then slather it on the brownies

These gooey and delicious brownies have full cookies inside, and are topped with frosting made with International Delight® Cold Stone Creamery™ Sweet Cream.

What do you think? I think a little chocolate drizzled on top would be top-notch as well, but there is plenty of flavor from the cookies inside the brownies, and from the International Delight® Cold Stone Creamery™ Sweet Cream inside the frosting.

Let it be known that while International Delight® Creamers are awesome for baking (and breakfast), it’s also perfect for your morning cup of coffee. The new International Delight® Half Gallon Creamer is an easier bottle to hold and pour.

Mornings can be tough in the cold weather. After I drop the kids off at two different schools, I come home to an empty house and I have those beautiful moments alone before diving into work. That’s when I love a hot cup of decaf (yes, I know) with International Delight® French Vanilla. It’s wonderful with coffee and wonderful for baking brownies too.

I find it in the dairy aisle of Walmart. The new half gallon bottles are easy to find and I buy them in three flavors. I like to vary it up with my morning coffee routine, but it’s also fun to try different flavors for different kinds of baking. I can see cookies, brownies and cakes in my future – all used with various creamer flavors. I can’t wait! Next up, I think I’m going to try Caramel Brownies with International Delight® Caramel Macchiato. I have just the recipe to perfect. Stay tuned for that!

Which flavor of International Delight® Creamer do you most look forward to trying first (it’s tough!): International Delight® French Vanilla, International Delight® Caramel Macchiato, or International Delight® Cold Stone Creamery™ Sweet Cream?
