The Monster At The End Of This Book.
The monster at the end of this book, I mean post. I think.. ish. There’s a something at the end of this post, let’s put it that way! And I know you may want to scroll down there right now! You can do it. I won’t tell anyone. I like when people spoil things for me because I think surprises are a crock of crap. However, if you DO like surprises, then keep reading! You’ll get there. I promise. Today is a Halloween Ask Away Friday! I’m swapping with RF (Rebecca-faith) for the second time, because she’s one of my favorites in the world.
And you may say, “I bet you say that to all the girls,” but I really don’t. And if I do, it’s because I have a lot of favorites. What can I say? She also has a particularly cute son, a wicked way with words, and a healthy sense of humor too.
The monster at the end of this book, I mean, post.
1. I don’t want to upset you, EVER. But sometimes things happen…how can I tell when you’re upset?
I turn into the monster at the end of this post! I think it’s hard because I can be a passive-aggressive bottler, but then all of that energy has to go somewhere so I’ll either implode, explode, or have anxiety. Not ideal.. A good friend once said to me, “I can tell when you’re 99.9% ok, which means I can tell the smallest percentage of you being not okay.” I do wear my heart on my sleeve if I trust you. If I don’t, well, it may take some guesswork. Although I’m really of the more even-tempered variety. I am friendly and warm 99.9% of the time so when that doesn’t happen, usually my friends know something’s up.

2. Your Ask Away Friday journey is legendary! From a participant to a host, from standard to themed… What question are you sick of answering?
Hmm.. good question. Sometimes I get sick of answering what my favorite thing to photograph is, because that changes so much. And I guess it’s ok to get that question more than once because my answer will be different each time. My favorite thing to photograph is love, not that you asked!
3. You have connections with bloggers all over the world. Name 5 places you’d love to visit and meet a blogger/friend.
Hmm.. this is tough because the five places I want to visit in the world wouldn’t necessarily overlap with five bloggers I’d love to meet. So I’m going by good places to meet here, and not necessarily by dream locations:
1. California, baby!
2. Arizona.
3. North Carolina – a disgusting amount of blogger friends there.
4. Malaysia. There’s a party there. I dreamed about it. And I could hold Alison’s twins.
5. Colorado.
6. I’m adding an extra. Canada. ALL OF IT.
If I didn’t name where you live, it could be because I’d want you to meet me at any of these locations..

4. You have $5k to spend on Amazon, what are your most expensive and cheapest purchases? PS. You can only spend it on YOU.
I’m glad you mentioned it has to be on ME, because I’d do damage on the kids too. Ok, the most expensive thing I would buy is most certainly a top of the line Canon camera. Maybe not top, top of the line because then I’d have no money left. Let’s just say a new camera body. The cheapest thing? Hmm.. Probably herbal anti-stress spray. A book. Food? Vitamins. Track jackets? (these are all the weird things I look for on Amazon) I buy used books too, so that would be the cheapest, I imagine!
5. Would you rather: Get three books published or rid of your anxiety completely and forever?
Oh my god, what are you doing to me here??? Well if I got rid of anxiety forever, would I still be me?? And if I got three books published, my anxiety might get worse. Or.. they strangely seem to go hand in hand in my head! It’s possible that getting rid of the bad anxiety would actually enable the three books! If I choose the three books, that could also help me get over some fears. Oh, boo! I say that they’re both possible(ish), but the three books thing is more possible. Anxiety is a hard beast. I’d choose to get rid of it. It’s the monster. It’s the monster in the middle of my post! And at the end of many of my posts!
6. If you could be a dual citizen of any country in the world, what’s your pick and why?
Maybe this isn’t very creative, because it’s only about three hours from here, but I say Canada! And they have moose.
7. What book have you re-read the most?
Probably every Sweet Valley Twins book ever, but mainly #86: It Can’t Happen Here. It was about the Holocaust, and I could swear the one before or after that was about what lip gloss Jessica Wakefield should be wearing on her date with Aaron.
8. Tell me something funny that Miss Scarlet has recently said!
I’ll tell you two. Last night after Des’ bath, she was pretending he was a newborn. I asked him a question and he said, “No!” and Scarlet said, “Aw…he already learned how to say ‘no'”! Then he stood up so I could put on his shirt and she said, “I want to name his nipples. Robert and Charlie! Robert is on the left and Charlie is on the right. Hi, Robert and Charlie!”
Another funny conversation was when we were talking about a mean girl at school and Scarlet asked how she should approach this girl if ever the victim of her ways. (her ways are ignoring and excluding people and acting hot and then cold, which is pretty weird for a five-year-old to even think that way) Anyway, Scarlet is very open and warm and it was really hard for me to hold my tongue when she asked me what she should do. I wanted to say, “Fart in her face? Call her a douchebag?” But I didn’t! Aren’t you all proud of me. Well then Scarlet made the funny joke for me! She said, “What if I say hi to her and she ignores me, and I just let out a HUGE burp in her face?”
Like mother, like daughter. And for the record, she was kidding and I didn’t approve of this method. Out loud, anyway.

9. If you were to guess what Des would do for a career based on his interests right now, what are your three guesses?
It’s hard to say because so many parents dream big dreams of their kids, and many don’t pan out the same way.. However, the kid has spirit, no doubt about that. And warmth. I think he’ll be a TV star, a professional hot dog eater, or a model.
10. I loved the story about your mom bailing you out in the high school parking lot during a fire drill when you accidentally locked yourself out of your running car (which was parked like crap). Tell me about another time your mom came to your rescue during your adolescence!
It happened SO often, I can’t even believe it. She’s always on my side. I will say that one night she was having a spiritual group party and I was broken-hearted about a guy and I came home all tear-stained and she instantly saw. She walked out of her party to give me a hug and tell me it would all be ok (which it was) and many of her friends came to comfort me as well, and offer me all kinds of spiritual advice. Ah, high school.

*Trick Or Treat Bonus Bag*
What costumes will the family be dawning tonight? Will Athena dress up? Cats too? What’s the candy protocol? What kind of candy do you give out?
Well. Easy answers first. Athena will not dress up. The cats will probably hide in their own cloud of smugness and judgement. We won’t give out any candy because we don’t get any trick-or-treaters! I honestly do live in the woods.. kinda. As for costumes, I sort of dropped the ball on my own. I had tunnel vision for my sister’s wedding this fall and there wasn’t room for anything else. So I did buy Des a little Superman costume and I’ll probably be Supergirl again. Scarlet and Cassidy will be Rocket and Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. There will be photos galore, next week. Cassidy did detail his costume making HERE. We snapped a few phone photos of the progress:

Aww, I could never picture you that upset that you explode, but then again I still remember that one time you texted me, but still just more of why we get along so well, because as sweet as I am I still have my moments too and watch out when I do! Anyway, want to wish you a very, Happy Halloween and can’t wait for the photo bombing now though 😉
I love the day that we both realized that when we are pissed off, it is not pretty. I still think that you and I are so alike. And I had a dream last night that I met you! You were really tall in my dream.
I know I was smiling thinking about that day and me tall – who would have known!!! 🙂
But it was just so cool and exciting that it was really you!
Aww, i really do hope someday soon that we can really finally meet 😉
It will happen. I know that!
I know it too 😉
And be better than my dream! Which was pretty great..
Aww, now i am smiling after having a rough night with Emma waking from a bad dream in the middle of the night. So thank you for always knowing when I need to smile 😉
Oh no!! That’s always the worst. If it helps, I just asked Cassidy for a hangover cure. And I didn’t drink at all, but it was quite a late night. He said water.
Honestly, i didn’t drink only Kevin asI was battling a sinus headache all day and finally fell asleep and then was woken out of a deep sleep. So definitely slept in, but feeling a bit hung over from the headache and interrupted sleep here. Thank god it is Saturday 😉
I think I do get sinus headaches, or stress headaches. I can go years without even one and then during a stressful time, get them weekly or more than once a week.
Water and chewing gum and ibuprofen help me!
Water defintely helps and crazy as it sound Midol of all things helps sometimes, too and doesn’t even have to be that time of the month. Go figure!
Whatever works!
Agreed! 😉
I like surprises, so I waited until the end of the post. That costume is awesome – I can’t wait to see what Cassidy and Scarlet look like when they’re all dressed up. Just one question for you – doesn’t everybody name their nipples?
You know, I never had but maybe I will now! I think mine would have female names. What about you?
I think so too. Male names would just be creepy.
Now I am laughing out loud. In public. Female nipple names.
Well……what are they?????
Just kidding – probably best to keep these things a secret (or just a family thing:)!!!
Ha!! I didn’t actually name mine. I wouldn’t even know where to start. Maybe something feminine but strong. After all they did nurse two kids for over two years.
That costume is amaazziiing!!
I really miss Sweet Valley.. I even read SV Kids before and used SVU as my book reports! Haha. Scarlet is very inquisitive. And so funny! Great swap again.
I never read the books when they were in high school, even when I was in high school! My sister had the kids’ years books and I read a few. Did you know there was another series of them in seventh grade, or maybe it was eighth-grade, that was so good? I don’t know why that series ended.
If that was the Sweet Valley Junior High then yes! I did read a lot of them. I liked them better than SVH, the book cover also looked “newer” with a more modern feel. And mind you, I never owned even one book! I always borrowed from friends.
Yes!! The covers had photographs instead of drawings. Totally Sweet Valley junior high.
Oh man! Tell Cassidy that Adam and I are drooling over his Groot costume! So amazing!
I could totally see Des being on TV or in movies! Scarlet is so funny and brazen, I love it!
I suppose Canada is close enough for a meet up, however, we are seriously going to have to get a planning committee going for you, Rebecca and I!
I think we will have to meet more where you live, because it’s somewhat in the middle. Right?
And I will pass along the message to Cassidy. He is very talented.
I absolutely love all the Scarlet exchanges! Yes, she should totally burp right in that nasty girl’s face!! :-)) And LOVE the monster costume – holy wow!!! We actually saw something like that in Portugal and the boys took a picture with it. They were totally freaked out and it took a while for them to get anywhere near it! So awesome.
Cassidy was going to go to school this morning like that. I think he would’ve scared the school!
Maybe he could’ve gone to the nasty girl and just started following her around as a 7 foot tall tree.
Oh my goodness, that costume is unbelievable! His talents blow me away.
And haha, Scarlet! I think she should call that girl a douchebag ’cause she sounds like one and Scarlet saying douchebag is hilarious. (Not really, obviously I don’t condone children calling each other names in school…to siblings, it’s perfectly ok 😉 But seriously, she is a riot, and so darn cute to boot!
Thank you! She is cute, even when she’s calling her brother names.
I think he is very talented. And I know that he probably lost a lot of sleep and time and maybe even brain cells from the paint fumes, but the whole process really only took a week or under. I think he could start a business.
Cassidy!!! I swear between the indoor cardboard play and now this!! I NEED to be adopted ASAP…this is awesome! I thought you were going to say it was part of some Guardians showcase or something. Unreal!
Okay…now that my fandom has shown. I just want to say that as part of the disgusting amount of NC Bloggers we would love to see you Anytime!!!
Also, I am one of those people who has a very high tolerance and can hold my anger, frustration, etc for a while but once that is full…WATCH OUT!
Great swap as always Lovie 😀
I must be like you! I can be downright scary when I’m mad.
And I can’t believe I used the word disgusting, but they are just so many good bloggers in North Carolina!
We will totally adopt you.
That monster costumer is SERIOUS. You guys DON”T PLAY When it comes to halloween! Looking forward to all the pictures! Loved the story of your mom too, I have endless stories like that, such a blessing these moms are!
Moms are great! I hope I can be as great as mine is.
And we definitely don’t play with Halloween, although I dropped the ball on it because of the wedding and I really will have to recycle an old costume tonight!
The monster is way cool. And hate you – my stomach ahs never been that flat (but first thing in the morning is the flattest). Des should totally be a model.
He has a lot of personality and he is very used to the camera!
Actually my stomach didn’t look like that for a while after both kids. It only changed back to that in the last month or so!
Oh my goodness! I love Rebecca-faith… she’s a favourite friend of mine too!
That costume is amazing!!! Well-done!
Woohoo for Canada… honourable mention, dual-citizenship, and moose! Yee haw!
Great questions and answers ladies!
Now I have to go check out Rebecca-faith’s post.
Have a great weekend!
xoxo
I can’t wait to see her post! She is just so wonderful. I know I will meet her one day.
I love your pictures Tamara!!
Thank you, Jill! Happy to have you co-hosting this week.
First of all – YES come to California (I am totally assuming that I would see you if you did LOL)!!! I so enjoyed this post, such provoking questions. I loved Scarlet’s response…ata girl! OMG that costume is friggin’ amazing! I hope there is a contest wherever you are going because he will win with that. Can’t wait to see what you dress up as! Happy Halloween!
Definitely visiting you when I hit California! For sure!
I think Scarlet has the right spirit for the mean girls of the world – she’ll match them with wit or vulgar comebacks. I’ve been there… more than I care to admit.
I’m not really dressing up very well this year! I dropped the ball on it because of the wedding and so many photo shoots. Boo! I hope I manage something good later today.
Yay! Something tells me you will come up with something…you could always go as a newspaper photographer :)!
I’ll post about it but I was Snow White again. It was actually just perfect.
I didn’t scroll all the way down before reading and I let the anticipation build up. The costume looks amazing! Scarlet cracked me up with the funny conversations! Reminds me of a similar conversation I had with Mateo.
Good on you for building anticipation!!!
Scarlet is an adorable raccoon right now. I can’t wait to take her trick-or-treating!
OMG. I’m so glad I waited until the end because it was so worth the surprise!!!!!!!! Cassidy’s costume is AMAZING! I feel like I remember you writing something about his plan to make the costume but I could be delusional. That guy is so freaking skilled! Even the cardboard playhouse he made with all the shoots and ladders for Scarlett while you were out photographing was mind blowing..! I’m glad I asked that Scarlett question because the nipple naming made my day, I laughed out loud. She needs her own blog! I could listen to the things she says all day! And now I’m curious as to what kind of spiritual group your mom was hosting!
I’m glad you waited too! And asked a super duper bonus question!
I always like swapping with you. My sister called you a babe. Everyone loves you. We’re all best friends.
— my deep thoughts of Halloween afternoon.
Scarlet definitely needs to blog one day..
Wow! Love that costume. Scarlett is hilarious! Love her. Such a great swap!
I’m glad people think she’s funny because I do.. but.. I just hope she doesn’t get in trouble one day!
The Monster at the End of This Book was one of my favorite books as a kid! I read it all the time!! Cassidy’s costume looks amazing! He did a really nice job!
It was one of my favorite books too! I think you are the first to get the reference, or at least the first to say it aloud. So thank you for that!
Oh my gosh, I love that costume!!
And…
sorry…
I…
cheated…and scrolled down.
lol.
My nipple’s names are Lucy (left) and Ruthie (right)
JUST KIDDING!!!
Hahahaha!! It would be more confusing if Lucy was right and Ruthie was left.
I would have cheated too, by the way!
Oh, my goooooood! That monster costume? Insane! I’m glad I waited because it was an even better surprise than I thought 🙂 soooo very much wish I was creative enough to make my own Halloween costumes each year. But I always draw a blank. I didn’t give it much thought this year, though I’d really love to play dress up going forward. Scarlet is a trip, seriously 🙂
And I love glimpses from your past and how sweet of your momma to come out of her spiritual circle to comfort you. And what sweet friends she has. *sniff* breaking up with a boy back then really was the end of the world… It’s funny to think about now, but my lord… definitely don’t want to live through those days again.
XOXO and Happy Halloween my sweet!
I remember thinking that a breakup would kill me. Like I wouldn’t survive it. Meanwhile, three days later…
I wish my brain would work the way my husband’s does. He came up with this costume in his head and heart, and not from instructions. And he made it come alive. And he only did in six days.
I know my head and heart do their own things, but that would be a cool talent to have.
Scarlet’s little comments had me cracking up!
Me too!! I don’t even want to tell her what I did to mean girls as a kid. My brain saved all of its darkness and immaturity for that.
The costume?! Amazing!! AMAZING!
I read all the Sweet Valley Twins books too. And Sweet Valley Kids. And Sweet Valley High. I owned so many of them.
Happy Halloween! Hope you get some delicious candy. I hope I do!
Did you???
I did the first raid in the middle of the night and had a Milky Way.
Wanna know a secret? I reread every Sweet Valley book in college. And also in my 20s.
That costume is crazy great! Cassidy could have a whole career just creating magic and whimsy for people. Seriously.
Happy Halloween Tamara 🙂
See, I agree!! Will you tell him for me? Yesterday was the first day I realized how possible it was.
Your husband’s costuming is pretty amazing!!!!! Wowee! As for the anxiety or 3 books question, you asked if you’d still be you if you didn’t have anxiety. Got me thinking – the things we love and don’t love about ourselves really make us who we are. Have a great Halloween!
Isn’t it interesting? I remember going through a rough time I was in college, and it was in the summer, it was rare for me to go through a rough time in summer. I was telling my boyfriend at the time that it wasn’t really “me” and he was such a tool but one of the wisest things he said to me that day was that all of it is me. The perfect and imperfect. The easy and the tough.
SWEET VALLEY TWINS, YES!!! I devoured those. Love Rebecca and wow that is one cool monster!! I finally just joined the AAF Facebook group. Now that I have every other Friday available I am going to try to get more involved. Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Halloween!
Glad you will be involved! I think I’m the one that added you to the group.
I was telling someone above that I reread my Sweet Valley books in college. And also as an adult in my 20s.
And I may do it in my 30’s too…
I saw Cassidy’s picture on FB earlier today and seeing it again tonight is equally impressive – so awesome!!!
I love that you always knew you could count on your mom – that is exactly what I want for my boys!!!
And I am sure you are that person for your boys! I know you have said in the past that relations with your mom are strained, so maybe she wasn’t the mother to you that you are to them?
Oh my goodness! Cassidy’s costume looks like he belongs in the movie! I love when you write about how great your mom is. It warms my heart. Yay you’d want to visit Arizona! This weekend marks the time when the temperatures drop to what I call “pretty amazing!” It’s when I would want everyone to visit.
I like pretty amazing weather!
I have a very amazing mom. It definitely helps my life be what it is, and that I have things more under control than I would otherwise, I imagine!
YOU’RE COMING TO VISIT??????
Oh, not right now. It’s okay, the party’s waiting for ya!
And I’m truly blown away by Cassidy’s Groot. Amazing.
Happy Halloween!
Ha… Yes! Although solo parenting four kids for five days. I think you might need me now?
That costume….Groot….so freaking amazing!!! I’m in awe. WOW!!!
I am too!!
Although I am pretty in awe of you too. Maleficent is wonderful!
Ha! That was cute and easy. Groot was crazy awesome. No wonder you have pictures of Cassidy with George Lucas. He is uber talented! I need step by step instructions because I have two boys who would go INSANE over that!
He does have it in photos! Maybe he will write something up, due to popular demand.
And whether it was cute and easy or not, my brain doesn’t work that way!
Haha! I swear if he did a crazy step by step video he would be an over night YouTube sensation. That was just way awesome. I did see his smugmug pics. Foam!! Seriously, GENIUS!! He needs to quit his day job. Lol
I agree! And I did let him know about the YouTube video, and how it comes from the opinion of someone I really admire! You!
You are sweet. Happy November 🙂
And to you! My least favorite month but I have high hopes for this one.
So, there were a million things I wanted to say, BUT there was a MONSTER at the end of you post!! I totally forgot about the monster, and I didn’t even cheat! Your husband is SO creative, what an artistic genius 🙂
Okay, 3 books or NO anxiety… that’s tough!
I loved Sweet Valley 🙂
XOXO
I will elaborate more on it in my Wednesday post! I wouldn’t be able to wait and I would do it Monday but I have a book review that day. A good book review, though!
My secret is that I still love Sweet Valley. I guess it’s not a secret if I post it on the blog.
Funny you say there are so many bloggers in North Carolina! I used to think I was pretty much the only one, but I have discovered many other – Kenya, Allison, Kristen, Andrea, Dose Girls. Who else do you know from NC? Sadly, Kristen is the only one I have actually met!!! When you;re coming let me know – blogger party at my house! (Just make it in the summer when everyone can bring the kids and we’ll jump in the pool!) Ah, now I have a picture in my mind of it all!! 🙂 Also, that costume is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I cannot believe Cassidy actually made it! (Well, I can believe HE made it – I would just NEVER EVER be anywhere near that creative!)
Ilene now! And Eli and Tiffany, my co-host and everyone you mentioned and more!!
I like that you have a picture of it in your mind. Makes it real.
I do think I am creative in other ways, and of course you are too, but my brain does not do what his did. He thought of the whole idea and made it real and he did it in six days only. Imagine what he could do in a year!
Ah! Ilene, Eli, & Tiffany!!! I knew I was forgetting some. It really is crazy that there are so many of us – and, still, Kristen is the only one I have actually met!
She seems like a great one!
wow cool costume – he should enter that somewhere to win a prize for best costume – he’d totally win.
Hope you had a Happy Halloween
You know what? He did win! Last night!
I love the title of this post. My kids love the Monster at the End of the Book stories.
That is a very impressive costume. I never saw the movie either.
I love seeing pictures of people in love. It can be a family, a couple, or even friends. I just love seeing what love looks like 🙂
Love is beautiful!
I didn’t see the movie either but now I can’t wait until it comes out on DVD.
Oh my goodness! This is wonderful. I swear I love the pics of the costumes! Des and Scarlet are so cute and Cassidy’s was great! You’re Snow White was also amazing, perfect to pull together quick! I haven’t dressed up for years. Oh I loved the Sweet Valley books, I had a shelf full of them. I just love the things that Scarlet says, she is a thinker! Have a great weekend!
Thanks, Stacey! I love so much to still dress up!
Ummm…is this a friend from preschool naming nipple theme? Because I am feeling kind of honored over here to be a part of Des’ anatomy. I knew it was a strong name when I picked it. And wow, I am going to have to get details on how that costume was constructed! And wow again on Charlie being the name of a nipple. Mike and I can’t stop giggling!
Haha!! Pretty sure that was the inspiration – aren’t you honored?? And it is a great name.
Glad you guys are giggling! I can’t stop!
Maybe Scarlet has it right…if we burped in more faces then we would be happier people! I went to a conference in NC and met some of your bloggy friends…so maybe I could go again 🙂
Haha!!! Burps feel good anyway… So…
And I would LOVE to meet you!!
AS ALWAYS… I loved this so very much!! I love especially that your friend knows you THAT well, to see when you are just a 1/2% not well. Oh, how I love that. And Cassidy’s costume?
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
And of course the picture of LOVE wins all. <3
It’s amazing. She said that to me over a decade ago, when I was much more closed off than now. And not a blogger either!
Cassidy’s costume.. there are almost no words, right?
I am loving this swap with Diz Mommy! Those were all great questions and answers and I don’t know where to even begin. I’m hoping that you’ll be coming to Colorado to see us. We have a moose at the zoo just waiting to meet you. I LOL at Scarlet’s answers, that’s a young lady right after my own heart, I agreed out loudly. 🙂 btw giving me $5k to spend at Amazon is like giving a kid money while in the candy store. It’s my all time favorite place to shop. I wish I had read this when it first posted but its been a rough week, suffering with migraines and I’m only feeling a bit better today. Cassidy’s outfit is totally amazing!!! He is soooo talented and now I know I would only celebrate and dress up for Halloween if Cassidy makes my costume. 🙂
I love DizMommy. A lot! I’ll be visiting you all in my favorite C-states. And no, Connecticut is NOT on that list.
Giving me a shopping spree to Amazon would make my life!
I’m sorry about the migraines! What the heck causes migraines? Not cool.
Seriously – Cassidy is in the wrong industry – he needs to be making costumes for Hollywood movies..HOW DOES HE DO THAT?! Lol – The Garden, the pumpkin recipe, now THIS! It’s too much awesomeness! He needs to be doing handy ish on the side, lol. I’d get rid of my anxiety in a heartbeat – no joke, if someone in the skies would take it away, I’d jump on that.. FREEDOM! Ugh I need to cook food – this kitten is highly distracting and sucks up ALL my focus this past week with his cute little self.. Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween Tamara! -Iva
It’s too much awesomeness to not be doing what you love, right? Whatever that is for him.
Kittens are distracting, aren’t they? Took us months to get used to the rhythms of ours and I still flub it up.
Yes you’re right about that – they are heavily distracting, I come home and just want to play with the kitten – I also have that personality that is easily swayed and distracted so it doesn’t help much getting myself refocused. LoL. 🙂
These questions are so interesting! I used to love reading Sweet Valley Twins. I only had a few of the books, but I read them over and over 🙂 Also, the monster at the end of the post is fantastic!
Thanks!! I’ll have more of the monster story soon.
That is just awesome! Bae was superman this year and I was kind of Wonder Woman…but Cassidy really goes all out!
That’s awesome! Des was superman and I wanted to be but couldn’t find my old costume.
Yeah – come to Canada. bring the Groot. LOL
I love that costume – that is amazing.
I would definitely blow all my Amazon money on photography related things. even the cheapest would probably just be extra cleaning cloths because I am forever losing those darn things.
Extra cleaning cloths!! Brilliant.
I loved your costumes so much.
Thank you! He did an incredible job.
Saw the Groot costume on Instagram – absolutely amazing and gorgeous and so cool! Loved this Ask Away Friday!
Thank you! This one was very fun.
I scrolled. I totally scrolled;-)
Happy Halloween, Tamara! Excited to see your kiddos’ costumes!!!
Thank you! And I would’ve scrolled too.
Can number 7 please be Iowa? Nah never mind lets meet in Northampton or on a beach…maybe Maylaysia…I’d love to meet Rea. You know we never swapped for AAF…. But don’t ask, I am very intimidated by your visible fan base I’d be stressed all week trying to think of “interesting” questions.
Oh silly. I would love to swap with you. And I find that the ones who are nervous about it usually ask the best questions. And there are no bad questions.
I am free next Friday and on!
And I would rather see you here, just because it would be fun to see you visit all of your old places with me! but I’m not sure I’ve ever been to Iowa!
1. North Carolina is lousy with bloggers. There’s a blogger for every three NASCAR fans. That’s still a lot of bloggers.
2. Groot is awesome! Nearly as awesome as a face-fart lesson. I’d wear that sucker to the grocery store.
3. I was afraid the monster I’d find at the end would be you, smiling, but wearing a Patriots jersey.
Whew.
Patriots?? Who are they? Just kidding. Scarlet was watching a game the other day and she asked me which team to root for. The men in the blue or the other men. I told her the men in the blue because I like blue, but I hadn’t on purpose told her to root for them.
Funny about North Carolina because I spent so much time there in the past. I may have eaten at a Waffle House with some of my favorite bloggers! And then we all got food poisoning together.
I love getting to know you through this meme. Your response to the question about publishing three books or a life without anxiety was (is) perfect. 🙂
Thank you so much! I was truly stumped. I was trying to think of what had an easier chance of happening, and sadly or happily, publishing a book is more my style than curing my anxiety completely.
I always love your photos and stories. I would love to meet some of my fellow blogoers including the askawayfriday group.
