We adopted her from a shelter last June. She was the tiniest member of her litter left after her two brothers had been adopted, and she was barely two pounds! She pounced around her cage and fell into my daughter’s arms, and that’s when we knew she’d be ours to keep! I had to call my husband but once he saw the photos, he was a goner too! I mean, LOOK:
When we took her to the vet for her first exam, we asked some important questions. We wanted her to be healthy and happy, and we had to find a way to balance the two. We live in the middle of the woods, and it’s home to many predators. Between the animals and the road down the long driveway, there is only one choice – an indoors cat. The vet suggested we work hard to make her happy inside, and then she won’t want to go outside. I’m pretty happy with how it’s turned out.
1 – Keep them safe from fleas and ticks! Yes, even indoors cats are at risk. Junie is at risk because we go in and out a lot, and could bring back unwanted visitors on our boots and clothes. Also, Athena (our dog) goes out all day long and puts our cat at risk. When we made the decision to treat Athena for fleas and ticks, we also made the decision to treat Junie. There’s no other way! That’s where Catego® for Cats comes in. This is powerful flea and tick control made specifically for cats.
Catego® for Cats is an effective, monthly prevention of fleas, ticks and chewing lice for cats and kittens weighing over 1.5 pounds, and over 8 weeks of age. You’ll love it! It’s designed to meet the unique needs of cats, and kills fleas within six hours, while some other products kill fleas within 12 hours. Catego® for Cats has a patented applicator to make it easy to apply, and this minimizes the risk of skin abrasion. It’s non-greasy, quick-drying and available in 3 dose or 6 dose packs.
Catego® kills all life stages of ticks through contact, including Brown Dog Ticks, American Dog Ticks, Lone Star Ticks, and Deer Ticks. You use it even if you have an indoor cat, because fleas, ticks and lice find their way into your home through other living, breathing things. Apply this topical treatment monthly to protect your cat from harmful parasites – and just one application gives your cat protection for a full month. For more info about application, visit Categocat.com/how-to-apply.
Where can you find it? Catego® is available at PetSmart, through Amazon, or through your veterinarian. To find a veterinarian or store location near you to stock Catego®, visit Categocat.com/where-to-buy/.
2 – Keep a clean house, and especially keep your cat’s food and water dishes, and litter box areas neat.
3 – Bring outside in! For us, that’s cat grass – a safe plant for cats to graze on.
4 – Picture Windows! Provide ample opportunities for your cat to be able to view the outside world.
5 – Provide your cat with ample opportunities to play. Sometimes she wants to play with me, and many times she wants to play with toys. I make her feather toys, or buy her bells, balls, mice, etc. She also has an exciting scratching pad.
Enjoy your cat!
